The revolving door of winning a game meaning were going to win the league and losing means suicide between fans is becoming tiresome.

People need to accept where we are and to seeth for a short period and let go of a result

Let's hope to see improvement Saturday
sadly without Dominic Calvert-Lewin we struggle up top
Yeah, there was a natural relief and surprise at the Arsenal victory, but also a lot of fantastical thinking that just because we had a new manager that all would soon be well. Dyche, by his own admission, got the job because of where this team is at - and because he is perceived as a gruff fireman who can get us safe. He's not a miracle worker. At best, we will oscillate between wins and losses as the season continues. At worst, we'll be effectively relegated by late March.

All that can be said for last night is we didn't ship a hammering. Now, we need to go and beat Leeds. More likely we can only draw. There will be no quick fix. In fact, as mentioned, it could be over before we know it and we lose on Saturday. I think that probably would be fatal in the medium term as we have no margin for error now thanks to the bizarre, suicidal loyalty to Fan-Friendly Frank.

Bad game last night but think if we get Godfrey in at left back and Patterson back in the team we have more pace to deal with the counter attack.
Also I think james garner will make an improvement in linking the midfield and bringing control. Somehow need to get him in the team.

There should be no bed wetting from yesterday.

I feel it’s a bit of reality of what we may expect from a Dyche set up away from home. Keep it tight, try to avoid going behind and try to make your chances count.

Whatever happened yesterday for the opener, meant te game plan went out the window. It’s a place we normally struggle, home games will be where it matters, and let’s see what we can take from the less daunting away fixtures.

A lot of football still to play, and anything from Liverpool, Arsenal, United or Chelsea away was always going to be a bonus. So, if you can, keep positive, let’s get behind them and make Goodison rock on Saturday.

agreed, for Mykolenko’s (non-existent) attacking output you might as well play Godfrey there so at least we have some pace on the cover! Patterson obviously a no brainer to slot in once he’s fit

That result changes nothing. We have got 3 points from 6 under Dyche when we were expected to get 0. They were free hits.

Leeds was always the big one. Let’s see how we do on Sat.
Spot on.

It's a huge game with potentially huge ramifications and we as a club need to be as one.

The Goodison crowd needs to be as it was against Chelsea last season.

We have scored more than one goal on two occasions this season. Crystal palace and Southampton. How does the club not sign a striker in January? Were gone. Theres zero goals in this team. Why bring in Maupay if hes not even playing? Hes played a combined 86 minutes in his last four premier league games. In comparison to the two below us and Leeds our defense is great, but look at the goals scored.

We scored 43 goals in the prem last season and escaped relegation by 4 points and had a 4 goal differential with 18th placed Burnley. To be on par with last season we would have to score 1.68 goals a game until the end of the season and have to win at least 7 more games. Where do we get 7 wins from?

Games to play
Leeds
Villa
Arsenal
Forest
Brentford
Chelsea
Spurs
United
Fulham
Palace
Newcastle
Leicester
Brighton
City
Wolves
Bournemouth
Terrifying

School boy error thinking that we had banished the spineless Everton to history based on the performance in the Arsenal game. They’re back and it is no surprise we have taken up residence in the relegation places
