Leeds is perhaps the biggest game in our club's history so far.

We as fans must be up for that one. We must drag our team over the line like we did against Chelsea and Palace last season.

It's massive but let's not go overboard. It's not even as big as Palace in May last year.

There should be no such thing as a free hit. Even if the result didnt go our way last night there is such a thing as performance and fight. This is what has been wrong with the club for so long. Thinking we can dine out on one result/performance and it doesnt matter about the next one. Its an awful mentality that has crept into Everton. The turning it on and off like a tap for certain games is an absolute no no attitude that should be stamped on.

Replacing our best player who gets you about 12 goals every season, but more importantly brings that pressure and fight for McNeil who had scored one goal and 0 assists the previous season is up there with the worst business I've ever heard of as well.

We have three points from two games, against the league leaders and a fixture which we are notoriously bad at getting a result from. If we continue at that pace we finish the season with 42 points.

Put your big boy/big girl pants on and accept it’s not going to be an easy couple of months, but we have every chance of staying up. Having a breakdown in this thread every time we lose isn’t going to help.

The team didn't show any bottle and rolled over, but Saturday is also the more important match if we want to stay up.

If your not up for a derby then you shouldn’t be playing football professionally

I think I can count on my hand the amount of times we have been up for a derby at Anfield in the past 25 years.

We have gone there with a lot better teams and been turned over more easily.

It was a bad performance, need to make sure we don't do the same on the weekend.

However, we now need 6 points from the next 2 no question.

I have faith in Dyche, he'll have left them in no doubt that last night was unacceptable.
