We have no threat, no pace, no creativity or unpredictability. The game plan is to try and keep a clean sheet and nick a goal from a set piece. I desperately want us to stay up, but I just don’t see it happening tbh.
Agree our only hope is home games as we do raise ourselves with home support but the lack of any threat without Dom puts pressure on the rest of the team who simply aren't good in enough in areas. People talking about Leeds and Villa like they are givens when we haven't beaten teams around us for most of the season, the Leeds game will be tough we need more mobility. This is a situation of the clubs own making. If we go down it's on disastrous recruitment and years of mismanagement from above. If we are playing Simms maybe try Gray off him. We need something

Be only fair to judge Dyche’s Everton after the Leeds game. Lose that one then we are staring into the abyss. If we can’t beat Leeds then even the most optimistic elements of the fan base will surely melt away.

Away from home it’s going to be a massive problem. Just no pace to even hit teams on the counter - have to play grey away for me so at least we have some vague counter attack threat.

Sounds dramatic but ultimately our season feels like it comes down to these next two home games. Win them/get four points then we have hope, positivity and on an upward curve. Lose them both and we might as well pack up.

A lot of our hope will rest on Leeds and Southampton picking up bums for managers, which looks like is exactly what's gonna happen. Dyche will win us points but he's not a total miracle worker, we'll need help. If however we can get into the summer and have him get players then we should be in at least a more prepared manner next season, genuinely think that if we can manage to stay up and keep Dyche for stability going into the new stadium then we can really kick on.

Don't get relegated is the goal for the next 18 months, if Dyche can achieve that and mold a bit of a team in the process he has my backing, won't be the prettiest but we'll be much better for it and he'd probably set us in place to be the first manager since Moyes to leave the club in a better situation than he found it.

It shows that they are still a very limited squad, lacking in quality. And it shows that one game doesn't turn a poor team into a good team. People went overboard based on 1 game, when we all know the proof will be in how they follow it up in games 2, 3 and 4 etc.

I can accept losing but I don't accept that sort of timid display where we crack under the pressure of a tough away game.
Have you seen Everton away from home for season upon season mate? That's what we usually do

Don't even think 4 points from the next two is acceptable tbh.

Think we have won 2 away games in almost 30 games, we will only be staying up based on that home form, so we need to beating everyone possible. We aren't going to pick up many away points.

We only seem to perform at home, it's been that way for ages now. Lampard changed a number of players (you can argue all day about the quality) yet we are still having the same confidence/leadership/cowardly stuff in games. Dyche wants to get all these old pros in to talk to the squad but I reckon he would be better getting in a top sports psychologist in to talk to them and try and get to the bottom of this once and for all.
