I’m pretty resigned to us going down. I’m more hopeful than I was previously that we’ll avoid financial oblivion given we banked 40 million from Gordon so 50 mill from sales this summer negates the cost of relegation. We should get that for Onana plus the Kean money is due.
Hopefully leave some change for some young and hungry talent to be brought in and given us a chance of coming straight back up for the first season in the new ground.

Yeah we aren’t getting any Kean money mate.

To finish mid table we probably need a minimum of 30 points from our remaining 16 games. Can you please explain your working out here?

It's simple. Games will be won. Look at the arsenal game. Dyche is an organiser and he will have this team playing to his tune sooner rather than later.

Trust me on this Mike.

Many of the same people saying we’re doomed now were saying the same last season.

Why not save yourself the misery for the next two months and take a positive outlook? The end result will be the same regardless.
In two games under Dyche we’ve beat the league leaders then played an away derby where we were inches away from also taking the lead in last night, effectively a two goal swing which could’ve changed the outcome dramatically.

Over two very difficult games we’ve gained points on Southampton, Bournemouth, Leeds, Palace and West Ham and kept pace with Forest.

Losing the derby isn’t fun but I hope the team don’t lose the head over it as much as half this forum has.

I had mentioned yesterday my curiosity of how the forum would react had we ended up losing the derby and it looks like I was spot on. New manager, beats Arsenal but loses to Liverpool. Nobody thought we would get any points, 1 point guaranteed and people would have gladly taken that. We have Leeds next. At Goodison. Have faith. We will win. COYB!!
