That’s not how stats work lol

You can’t take games out to work out the average needed because you deem them to be tough games, that makes no sense.

We got a point against United and Chelsea away last season, btw. But you’ve declared them guaranteed losses. Ridiculous.
They may not be guaranteed losses, but they most certainly are Expected Defeats!

100%.

I'd never say never if we lost to Leeds but I think it would be pretty damning. What we cant keep doing is losing these games though. At the very least get a point, if we'd done that against Southampton, Wolves, West Ham things would look a little different.
Well, mathematically, there is always hope. But I'll be drawing the necessary conclusions from a home defeat to Leeds. It's best to prepare mentally for the probable if that happens.

We have to get three points. It's at home and against a direct rival.
If we cannot win such a game, you legitimately ask from where we will get the 6 odd wins needed.
Saturday is a direct litmus test of whether or not we have what it takes to stay up.

I’m pretty resigned to us going down. I’m more hopeful than I was previously that we’ll avoid financial oblivion given we banked 40 million from Gordon so 50 mill from sales this summer negates the cost of relegation. We should get that for Onana plus the Kean money is due.
Hopefully leave some change for some young and hungry talent to be brought in and given us a chance of coming straight back up for the first season in the new ground.
