We are living in the fear of going down. That is currently hamstringing us hugely. The likes of Fulham, Brentford and Brighton have no such fears as they’ve been down countless times. We have to remove the fear of failure and embrace it. It sounds weird but our football club is currently a noose round ours the players the owners everyone’s necks. Words a cheap I know but this is the size of the task Dyche has got.

Leeds have Saints at home after they play us. Lose to them Saturday and you’re possibly looking at being 7 points behind. Then it’s curtains because we ain’t making that up.

Leeds have given up themselves. Talk of giving some no mark caretaker the job like Bournemouth did.

At least we gave ourselves a good chance with Dyche while Southampton are employing the fella Leeds just sacked.

Leeds have actual strikers though. We don’t. Leeds can score, we can’t. That’s the difference.

Just hope that dyche can make us strong at home then try get draws away from home. Is a tough job but we just have be crazy again like last season and get this team over the line

If we don’t get a minimum of four points from those fixtures we’re toast.
Personally I think we’ll get 1 point from a draw against Leeds , if we’re lucky.
Three points from Leeds and 1 from the Villa game maybe.

Even that would hand us 7 points from 12 and put us on target for 36-38 points.

Leeds then Villa at home. Two wins and that would be three wins in four since Lampard was sacked. I Just can’t see us winning three in four to be honest, it’s just not Everton, but as you say we would be in a strong position if we could win both

Beat Leeds and get to 16th. That would take a lot of pressure off these players and they could really go for it against a decent enough Villa team.

We really are in business if we beat Leeds. Itls at home and we have Dyche 1 for 1 at home. He's beaten Arsenal there so there's no reason we cant do Leeds there.

Exactly..
Sorry to dampen the spirits in here, but we're not winning 6 games with this squad.
When the window closed in August/September, it seemed like we were expecting Gordon and DCL to do something they’d not done before, (tbf DCL done it once) and shoulder the entire goalscoring burden.

The second window, am sorry, but there is absolutely ZERO EXCUSE.

Imagine how much more confident we would all feel with a couple of half decent loans. As it is, we are desperate for DCL to not fold like a piece of paper
