It's nearly always the teams with the worst goal differences that drop, which at the moment are Southampton, Bournemouth and Forest by some margin.

Forest are by no means out of this.
Yeah, I'm literally putting my last grain's of hope on Forest being dragged back into this.

West ham will get out of this and I worry Leeds will finally start putting some of there chances to bed. However bad they've been at least they're still creating chances...

When the window closed in August/September, it seemed like we were expecting Gordon and Dominic Calvert-Lewin to do something they’d not done before, (tbf Dominic Calvert-Lewin done it once) and shoulder the entire goalscoring burden.

The second window, am sorry, but there is absolutely ZERO EXCUSE.

Imagine how much more confident we would all feel with a couple of half decent loans. As it is, we are desperate for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to not fold like a piece of paper
Well from what Dyche seemed to incline about dom's fitness, seemed to suggest it's more then just an injury. He's battling mentally aswell. Which is not a good sign..

General feeling amongst Leeds fans is we’re down alongside Bournemouth and Southampton. We have a decent squad but Marsch wasn’t good enough and now our joke of a board can’t bring anyone in and we’re left with Skubala who was literally a futsal coach last year. I wouldn’t worry guys, Dyche will lead you to safety.

Don't even think 4 points from the next two is acceptable tbh.

Think we have won 2 away games in almost 30 games, we will only be staying up based on that home form, so we need to beating everyone possible. We aren't going to pick up many away points.
True but I worry where the goals come from with our attack. Maybe set pieces get Mina in as he is a threat and you have Tarks, Mina, Simms and Onana going for whipped in balls and a bit more pace with Godfrey and Gray. As one asset Leeds have is pace. We need to go direct we can't get caught in transition as we did last night or it will be the Wolves game at home all over again.

I wonder if James Garner will be fit enough to start soon he can at least go forward with the ball and is known to be good on set pieces. Would like to see him come in for Doucs at times.

I pretty much agree. I think villa at home is amongst the 5 easiest fixtures between now and the end of the season. It therefore falls into the category of must win.

Leeds (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Forest (A)
Villa (H)
Palace (A)

This is worrying to me, because I feel we are pretty clear underdogs in 2 of those games and yet they are the easiest we have left. Could maybe include Fulham (H) and Brentford (H) over the away palace game but I think they are both much better sides than the current palace team. If only we'd got 4 points out of southampton, wolves and west ham.

We would need far better players to play more attacking. It is the practical thing to do if we are to survive, not the other way round. The teams that survive this relegation battle will be the ones that concede less between now and May, the reason being that those in the relegation battle are all struggling to score. There are tiers to this whole tiered system, who'd have thought it? Tiers within tiers too.
We're currently not in position to survive despite conceding less than everyone around us except Wham.

Goals are everything. We have to turn up the attacking endeavor because otherwise we don't score, which means we can't win and can't survive.

I don't care if the u18s are out there, the manager has to take the right view and if it doesn't work because the players aren't capable whatever. He has to do his job first.

His job is to get points...if we concede we are far less likely to get points... when better teams concede they are still very capable of getting points. We havent the requisite spark to control and create much in a game or the talent to regularly finish the limited chances we make. Not conceding has to be the priority. It's not as exciting but it is very satisfying when it works too

We also don't have the ability to win matches if we don't score.

It's a balance. We've never found the appropriate balance. I doubt we will as our current manager hasn't ever found it either.

This isn't true though...he found a balance with a weaker squad(as poor as ours is)
We have more chance of scoring one than two. Not conceding also breeds confidence. What I'm saying is we have more chance of winning 1-0 than 2-1, or drawing 0-0 than 1-1... that means more chance of points if we play to our strengths.
Lets check in on this come May and see what teams survived relative to goals scored v goals conceded among the relegation favourites... It'll be interesting to see how it works out
Besides, we have no choice because we have 1 broken striker, 1 very limited striker and 1 league 1 striker and 6 centre backs lol

The last time the team scoring the least goals survived, and in fact the last time they didn't finish bottom, was 2017/18. Guess who has scored the least goals?

Granted the team conceding the most does go down pretty much every time as well but we're so far from being in danger to do that I'm not sure it is even possible.

There is one area that has to improve drastically to survive and we brought in the least qualified person to do it. On top of that what chance Dyche does have at finding consistent goals revolves around having a massive player to win headers both in midfield and in the box. Ours can't stay healthy enough to play 5 games in a row. We are already playing from behind points wise. Too many draws will relegate us too.

The injury can't be helping that either. Fighting to play the Arsenal game, playing well and out again...must be very frustrating for him
Yeah I think one is just playing on top of the other. he's stuck in a never ending cycle.
And then you have to factor in the pressure on his shoulders, He knows this club is literally relying Solely on him and his goals. That is one serious burden on his shoulders.
