I feel more comfortable managerial wise than those two but like you said time will tell. Saturday is massive!!I think we have made the right choice if you see what's going on at saints and Leeds, although obviously the end of the season will be the actual judge
Yikes!
Jesse Marsch: Talks between former Leeds boss and Southampton break down
Jesse Marsch had been on verge of becoming Southamptons new manager after being sacked by Leeds last week; Southampton dismissed Nathan Jones last Sunday; the former Luton boss lost seven of his eight Premier League games in charge; Southampton are bottom, four points from safetywww.skysports.com
Yep, all will boil down to that. We’re down
The squad hasn’t got enough goals in it to stay up.
January transfer window was crucial but the board blew it big style.
Oh lord we are down then! No point turning up? Sunk before we play again. Doomed before another ball is kicked. Your crystal ball is much clearer than mine. Anyone want my tickets?Yep, all will boil down to that.
I can see plenty of 0-0 draws and defeats by a single goal.
The board sent us down and metaphorically jumped into one of the few liferafts, then watched film afar as our ship disappeared beneath the ocean.
I’m willing to give Dyche a chance to get some goals out of this side. Hopefully some new ideas can help make that happen but I’m not the most optimistic. It’s a shame management bottled the transfer windows and the fans are the ones who have to live with it unfortunately. We’re down

While I’m not the most optimistic, I do believe we need to give Dyche a chance and let the season play out. It’s the dream and the hope that makes football so special.Oh lord we are down then! As you said, Dyche’s experience in relegation battles and bringing a team up is what gives me the most hope in his appointment, but then again it is the board and management that worries me the most. Let’s say we do go down, I’m not sure what our squad looks like for next season but I have zero faith that they will give Dyche the backing he needs to manage a competitive squad to allow us to bounce back up.Dyche is a good appointment due to the fact that he has been here before and has Championship experience gaining promotion.
The board got there by luck but let the fans and the club down by failing to plan adequately for the January window which ended embarrassingly for us with players bolting from under our noses and getting blown off by players going to our relegation rivals.
We all saw the deficiencies of the team after the summer window so not to plan for that is scandalous and effectively (barring a miracle) relegated us
I said it a while ago that i thought with the Coady and Tarkowski signings, that we were hoping to keep as many clean sheets as pos (which we know we wont) and try and nick as many games as we could 1-0 - we may get lucky a certain few games and get 2 goals in a game our way but not manyWe’re down

Just being able to put Garner, Gray, Townsend and Dom in that team and I'm sure goals would come.I’m willing to give Dyche a chance to get some goals out of this side.
