The last time the team scoring the least goals survived, and in fact the last time they didn't finish bottom, was 2017/18. Guess who has scored the least goals?

Granted the team conceding the most does go down pretty much every time as well but we're so far from being in danger to do that I'm not sure it is even possible.

There is one area that has to improve drastically to survive and we brought in the least qualified person to do it. On top of that what chance Dyche does have at finding consistent goals revolves around having a massive player to win headers both in midfield and in the box. Ours can't stay healthy enough to play 5 games in a row. We are already playing from behind points wise. Too many draws will relegate us too.
Well like you said, it's trying to find the best balance. I'm talking about checking the goal for and against between now and the end of season...teams change tactic as the season progresses. We had more chances in the Arsenal game than we had in a long time, we had 2 pretty big chances ast night too in an awful performance. I agree we can't draw too many, but we may be glad of them in some games. We will get some wins...3 of next 4 matches are very important. I'm hoping for 7pts at least

Every game we play is likely to be a coin flip. We don't have to win any of them. That's where we are unfortunately.

You can change that equation by putting together a team capable of scoring goals, plural, from time to time. We've chosen not to pursue that. It is a choice.

It was a choice. Now it is a matter of adapting to that choice

Can we encourage an out-of-favour striker to pretend he's a goalkeeper, get a goalkeeper 'injury crisis', receive permission for an emergency goalkeeper loan then just play the new fella up front and have Pickford magically regain fitness at the same time?

This is specifically the fault of the recruitment team.

Whats the general consensus about season ticket renewals. Will most people renew anyway irrespective of if they think we go down. Or will people wait to the last minute to see if we are going down and not renew if we are heading into the championship. I think a potential last season in goodison will have a big impact on renewals. I think the main reason for the waitlist getting so big over the last few years is the stadium move.
My view is we are a very loyal bunch and used to watching crap so the majority will renew. If i had a season ticket (im waitlisted for 2 seasons) i would renew irrespective and if if get offered one this time arround I would accept. I certainly dont want us to go down, but just interested to see some opinions.

I live in Kilkenny, so I only get over now and again. One weekend with my wife and daughter costs me about €1000 including flights, hotel, etc

A Main Stand ST is £670!!

If I lived anywhere near Merseyside, I would definitely have a ST and I would also renew even if we went down.

I’m on the waiting list and have been for the last few years.
Up, down, backwards or forwards. What ever direction this club goes in I’ll still be wanting a ticket.

Pricey that. Im over for Leeds Saturday from Dublin for just the day trip and will be €250 or there abouts. Couldnt afford to be doing nights over each time or bringing the family!

If I was young free and single, I probably would do the day trip. There is a Blue who works with my wife in Kilkenny that went to the Arsenal game through Dublin and came back that day through Cork, using buses. I don't know if I have the energy for that anymore!

In the 80s, I loved going over Friday night on the B&I and back Saturday night - no need for hotels, plenty of duty free pints on the boat, and then just kip wherever we could find. I was single then though!

Dyche has had a couple of weeks, and he’s already beaten the team at the top of the league gaining three points almost nobody sane would have predicted. For me it has shown we can pick up points against the top teams, while we struggle against the poor ones for some reason.

I am quite relaxed really, it won’t be pretty but I genuinely believe the ‘threat’ of relegation will subside over the next few weeks, starting with a victory against Leeds. He has the fans behind him and the players seem to be responding in a positive way too.

The board are dead. They might be dragging their zombie forms into away stadiums, but they'll be well advised to continue to stay away from Goodison until they're all officially replaced in the summer - probably after a takeover or investment.
The Everton board have been threatened with death from Evertonians. With such strong, serious threats, the board have been advised to stay away from Goodison Park. They look forward to seeing the travelling toffees the Emirates.
