I said a fortnight ago that one of Palace, Leicester and West Ham are in a fight but they don't know it yet.
I see nothing that dissuades me on that.
Take us out the equation and West Ham have only beaten Forest since October.
We're not a team of superstars. But we do have numbers and they are around the same quality in midfield and defence (Tarkowski aside). That's the point: we can slot in similar quality players and remain competitive. You’ve just listed a load of names there though, that doesn’t signify strength in depth, it just means we have a lot of crap players. Strength in depth requires you to actually be strong in certain areas, not just have a load of bodies registered. There isn’t a single decent player in that list of wide options for example, we’re clearly not strong in that area.
We needed to hold them off for another 5 minutes or so. Once you see 80 odd minutes on the clock the panic sets in for a team chasing a game.Bit more belief within the group and we win that yesterday.

Indeed. And second from bottom in the last 6 form table. Everton a mighty 13th ahead of Chelsea, and a Coleman penalty decision away from going level with United who were supposedly back to their best. You see nothing that indicates Palace don’t know that they’re in a relegation fight yet?
I mean, you’d think the league table might be a clue. I wonder if they’ve seen it yet.

He did well, no doubts and was our key man. But the whole team performed a lot better when it came to the crunch (i.e. after the Burnley loss) and half of Richie's league goals from the Lampard tenure actually came in defeats, so others obviously did their bit too.Well we stayed up last season due to Richarlison being a beast for the last few months and single-handedly getting us points. We don’t have that any more.
Any danger Townsend kicks a ball again?Players coming back will be very welcome as well, a more balanced bench to select from.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin back will allow us to change it up quite a bit as well, allow us to push Gray wide so we have pace on the wing.
Maybe Leicester will go down…just as bad as the rest of us.
Yeah and we all hope that. Most tradesmen are very decent at other trades other than their own.
That's what we're doing under Dyche: adapting to hopefully get the job done.
One thing for Dyche, last season we absolutely would’ve lost that, it was giving me Burnley vibes at 2-2. You only have to look at the Wolves and Southampton home games to see how brittle we were under Lampard.
Got a lot to do, but feel better with Dyche so far than Lampard.
Easily could have done if Johnson (?) didn't fall on his arse after Pickford parried Ayew's shot to be fair.I was genuinely astonished we didn't lose after they made it 2-2 to be honest.
Thought myself earlier that it would be West Ham that get sucked in. Not that they are clear in any sense. Let's hope so.I said a fortnight ago that one of Palace, Leicester and West Ham are in a fight but they don't know it yet.
