Next 3 are a hard call points wise. Brighton i just dont know. We could beat them and they could just as easly play us off the park. Palace has a 0-0 written all over it and then the really weird one, united. I dont know if ten hag will even be the manager by the time we face them. I thought they were lucky to even beat sheff united.
Really tough call to know the points tally from the next 9 available.

The Brighton game is mouthwatering due to the Ferguson vs Branthwaite show.

Two of the best young players in the league.

Whoever wins that contest wins the game.

Our recent form over the last 6 is LWLWLW so it suggests that Brighton maybe a L sadly, over the full 10 it's LLLDLWLWLW. We seem to lose a game and follow it with a points game.

Id take a midweek cup loss for 3pts vs Brighton.

Unfortunately Brighton have a full week off. We must rest at least 6 from our first team. A shame if Keane is unavailable because we need him for this fixture

I still want to see us beat a team who aren't having an atrocious day before I think we're a cut above.
I don’t think West Ham were anything but I’d have expected today. Thought the game would be a tight one with little to no goals, only difference being we took one of our rare chances and managed them to hardly a clear sight at goal.

It was hardly a masterclass, but for the most part we defended really well.

Same with Brentford and Bournemouth. They seemed sloppy, but only because we pressured them into so many mistakes.

I think Palace away is very winnable personally.

Unsurprisingly they can't score much without Eze and Olise and while their defence is solid if you actually attack them you will create good chances.

Same mentality as yesterday and Brentford (how has this team randomly become good in London?!) and that's a draw at worst game imo. Got a 0-0 down there comfortably last season and finished with 10 men with Holgate getting sent off.

Under Dyche the team is picking up at least a point away every other away game so that's a vast improvement on what was happening in 2022 and large parts of 2021.

Now he needs to find a similar formula at Goodison. I agree Brighton is really difficult to call with the pace they have on the break. That said their CBs were completely done by DCL's movement in the away game so they won't be fancying playing him again. Feels a 1-1 to me.

Didn't know where to plonk this but glad we got rid of Maupay even for a season, did you see him get outrun by a goalkeeper(Sanchez) on saturday when he was clean through? Fair play he got the assist but by jeebus he's so so slow lol

It was a miracle staying up last season. Having Maupay/Simms/Gray as CF options for 25 of the 38 games! Keane starting every week from early March to early May. Godfrey also starting a fair bit in that period. Leicester are still kicking themselves for not sacking Rodgers in January as they'd have stayed up comfortably, still they'll get a record breaking championship season as consolation prize.

As much as I was sceptical about the slow business there is actually good balance and variety in the regular 11 now in most positions. Big problem though is injuries will eventually occur and that could cause results to nosedive again especially if losing a few defenders at the same time in say December.

What do we need Keane for, sorry?

Is it the kit man’s night off so Keanes gotta collect the jackets in and hand out water bottles or whatever?

He’d find a way to cock that up tbh.

He doesn’t need to be anywhere near the team, he’s done.

Not sure thats a great benefit for them...beat Burnley in the cup and we'll be on a major high.

Sometimes the confidence and adrenaline carries you through -- a weakened team can be counter productive.

Are Eze and Olise currently injured?
