Not sure thats a great benefit for them...beat Burnley in the cup and we'll be on a major high.

Sometimes the confidence and adrenaline carries you through -- a weakened team can be counter productive.

Are Eze and Olise currently injured?
Yes, both currently have hamstring injuries.

The league is that bad this year, even with s points deduction I think we would stay up.

Keep our better players fit and no points deduction ( I don't think we will get one ) I think we will have a comfortable season, around 13th

Based on last season anyone finishing in the bottom half with a 12 point deduction would have been relegated.

Michael Olise has not played a single minute all season.

Eze injured his hamstring in late September, 6 weeks was the timescale so they'll probably save him for after the November break.

Against Spurs they just had endless DMs in their team. Will Hughes was their most advanced player in Doucoure position and he did o.k but he has no pace whatsoever so couldn't capitalise on any space infront.

It should be a slow paced game at Palace so one of those to me keep 0-0 and then step it up second half as was expertly done yesterday.

For the time being we have to regard our position as that of crisis.

If we survive this season it'll be by 1-7/8 points.

Ergo: we can't afford any points deductions.
Long time browser, first time poster here. I have got to go with Dave on this one, and having read the forum regularly I haven’t always agreed with him! But he is bang on the money here.

Really worrying the amount of blues seeming to think we could absorb a 12 point deduction and stay up. Obviously it’s technically possible, but I would say the chances are slim to none. Yes, I think it’s a poor league this season, and I think a bottom 2 could get cut adrift with a v low total in the twenties. But it only needs 3rd bottom to get their act together slightly to pick up around 31/32. That leaves us needing mid forties and I would not like to bank on that at all.

Zero points deduction, and I’m not particularly stressed this season, and I’m a real pessimist by nature when it comes to Everton! I do think it will be a low total this season, anything above 30 gives you a shot, but there is no way on earth any of us should be blasé about ANY points deduction, and 12 will absolutely finish us IMHO
