CB is our most crucial position to reinforce in January. Even a loan for half the season. If we lose either Branthwaite or Tarkowski, the drop off to Keane or Godfrey is absolutely massive - it simply cannot happen

But we will only do this, If we can find someone mad enough to buy them for good numbers, only everton would do that, and...oh!

Branthwaite is 1 yellow away from a ban, Tarkowski is 3 yellows, while the likes of Doucoure is 2 away - They all have till the end of the man city game 27th December (Game 19)

Any player earning five bookings from his side's first 19 Premier League matches will serve a one-match ban in the same competition. Yellow cards are not carried over to the EFL Cup or FA Cup.

Players who accumulate 10 yellow cards in Premier League matches up to and including their team's 32nd fixture will serve a two-match ban in the competition.

I do think with the way the game has changed the totting up for a ban should be a higher number. The things you get cards for now compared to even 10 years is crazy.

I always said about 15 years ago if I ever won the lottery I would hire like 5 people to scout EVERY match they could to find the best pointer in the sport after Phil Neville and give out an award each year for it.

Those 7 points from the last 9 are massive - really iffy run of games coming up until the new year.

Man Utd H, Nottingham Forest A, Newcastle H, Chelsea H, Burnley A, Spurs A, Man City H, Wolves A

I'm expecting 21/22 points from that bunch of games, possibly drawing or losing against Wolves away.

I fancy us to beat Man Utd (& did before last weekend), even more so if we pretend we are the away team lol - We have this thing every few weeks where people as they do put up how many points the next 5 or so games, we may get. While others panic like mad (well the usual) thinking the worst.

I'm probably massively gonna get shot down for this ha but maybe a one game suspension for Branthwaite before the new year wouldn't necessarily be the worst thing in the world. The kid has played a lot of ball lately, so the one-game break will probably help him recover a bit better factoring in the busy festive schedule

I would be surprised if he made it to the end of the City Game without another yellow.

No chance of relegation - only need 2 points to get to safety on goal difference and those other 3 teams are rubbish!

Effectively means that we need 46 points to stay up. Couldn’t see that as a realistic target before the sanction, don’t see why anyone thinks it’s achievable now.

Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United are all on course for about 20 points at the moment so one of them will have to improve a lot for us to need another 30+ points to stay up.
