Luton have been very good in the last month or so. Anyone counting them out does so at their peril.

I’m with you mate, I think 5 of our next 7 are tricky fixtures. This run of form we know can’t be maintained, it never really can for anyone.

I do think we are in an infinitely better team then last year and I think we will be competitive in every game- but also think we need to be for the job of work in hand.

There can be no slacking the same performence level in every game win or loose - even if it’s the mats in the improvement in teamwork, cohesion, culture, character and mentality.

I think from now until mid Feb will be a challenge. Wolves and Fulham even don’t have mug managers and they will play possum against us again.

I think we’ll be ok- unless the lunatic in administration hangs us again, but we have to be at it and we have work to do. I’d feel a lot better with 20 points in the bank come the new year.

In previous years its not been clear if we are actually better than any of our rivals. This year we are unquestionably better than the current bottom 3 and I'd argue Forest as well.

We can't be complacent and we aren't safe or out of trouble by any means. But we now have a bit of breathing space that we haven't had in previous years. We need take it one game at a time and not look too far ahead. We will lose games and we need to stay calm and react well when it happens.

We're in a good position and it feels a lot better than the last 2 years, but there's a lot more hard work still needed.
I’d go further. We definitely were one of the three worst clubs in the last two seasons. We stayed up owing to freak results.

We definitely are not one of the worst three teams this season. We have a lead over the bottom three and only need to match their results from now on.

IMO we face a big danger of a possible spate of bad injuries AND I cant see other clubs not seeing what we all know to be the case: that we are a team that don't want the ball too much.

IMO no other team outside City are coming to Goodison and taking control of the ball anymore. If I was an opposition manager Ild be setting up very deep and coughing up the ball to Everton.

If Dyche doesn't have a plan B then we could be in a lot of trouble.

If I’m being really optimistic I hope our upturn in form this season will flush out some better prospective owners. The FFP hearing is done, we look more than good enough to avoid last day relegation nail biters, so Premier League football should be assured for next season. After the Ajmer window, the football side of the business is financially in a much better state than it has been for a long time. With a new stadium nearly finished, we must be a hell of a lot more attractive an option than we were in January.

Fair points and I would thought the same up until our recent run. I think we always seem to find a way, our strikers don’t even score that much and the variance is unpredictable but also mixed. In short I think we’ve improved even from early season.

I think we are a really powerful and athletic team and I think that’s difficult to hold, in many of our matches that’s made the difference. The core seems better , I can’t remember the last goal scored on the counter like a Wolves and Fulham -Brighton I think. Teams find it really hard to handle us and win the battle individually or as a collective.

I think Forrest and WHU tried to give us the ball and asked us to break them down and we did. I think we have to sign post improvement when we see it I think we have improved - we will be tested as you say in the next 7.

I don’t think we’ve had a fit squad for mi the now mate, nearly everyone’s been injured and out o&the team at some point except JT - it doesn’t seem to but, today is an example, we were on a boney backside squad wise today.

Don’t get me wrong we have challenges ahead, but I think looking at it the way we are thinking some fixtures will be tough - I think other teams are looking at us and thinking that’s we’re tough fixture now - hasn’t been like that in years.
