If the owner and board want this club to survive they have to get multiple signings in by Thursday, because the only way we get clear of the drop now is if we get a clutch of players with a diffferent attitude who can give a transfusion of hope to the team.

No but the first 3 games have pretty much proved we will be in another relegation battle and I dont think anyone has the stomach for that again.
We had a chance to put together a side that could get to relative safety and about 45 points. We decided to do nothing to improve the goal threat in the squad, and now we are playing catch up already.
We arent down but we are one of the most obvious relegation contenders because we are astonishingly bad in front of goal. Its not good enough.

I have to agree I am quietly worried about our whole state of affairs.
My point is that if we are down there again, it will be even more difficult to survive. We are all running out of the energy for these survival seasons. I dont think anyone has the stomach for it again and I think you eventually run out of chances at this level.
We had a chance to build a side that could push to safety and over 40 points but out recruitment was absolutely diabolical yet again. No other top flight club would consider signing the 4 players we signed.
The level of attacking play on show is an absolute embarrassment to the club and the supporters. How can the club watch it and not react immediately. It absolutely baffles me.

Undeniably. But luck or not, we are staring down the barrel of getting cut adrift over the next 3 games.
Because the club is run terribly.
Nothing has changed at the top so why did people expect any different.
Yep, I think a lot of the luck teams make themselves as well. It's no coincidence that teams low on confidence seem to get endless strings of bad luck. The ball won't bounce the right way, players snatch at chances, make rash decisions etc.
It's a concern every time the opposition is near our goal because I'm waiting for it to go in and we all know how toothless we are up top.
You can sense it in Goodison already, the anxiety is there in the 3rd game. That obviously compounds every issue, but I can't blame the fans for feeling this way after the last few years. Genuinely scary times.
