We've failed to take a point from our opening 3 matches for the first time in 33 years and failed to score in our opening 3 games for the first time in our history.
This is different than the last two seasons. This feels like a game or two to meltdown and we'll never get out of it.
There's something about this season already. Defo.
If the owner and board want this club to survive they have to get multiple signings in by Thursday, because the only way we get clear of the drop now is if we get a clutch of players with a diffferent attitude who can give a transfusion of hope to the team.
No but the first 3 games have pretty much proved we will be in another relegation battle and I dont think anyone has the stomach for that again. We will sign at least one player by Friday and we aren't relegated after three games.
it’s also luck
Any Evertonian worth their salt knows we can't rely on that!it’s also luck
Not over 3 games and not scoring a goal in that time.
Point out where I said different pleaseNo but the first 3 games have pretty much proved we will be in another relegation battle and I dont think anyone has the stomach for that again.
We had a chance to put together a side that could get to relative safety and about 45 points. We decided to do nothing to improve the goal threat in the squad, and now we are playing catch up already.
We arent down but we are one of the most obvious relegation contenders because we are astonishingly bad in front of goal. Its not good enough.
I have to agree I am quietly worried about our whole state of affairs. We've failed to take a point from our opening 3 matches for the first time in 33 years and failed to score in our opening 3 games for the first time in our history.

My point is that if we are down there again, it will be even more difficult to survive. We are all running out of the energy for these survival seasons. I dont think anyone has the stomach for it again and I think you eventually run out of chances at this level.Point out where I said different please
Undeniably. But luck or not, we are staring down the barrel of getting cut adrift over the next 3 games.missing open goals, clearance of the line,
hitting posts, bumped by VAR,injury’s
LUCK to
Because the club is run terribly. My point is that if we are down there again, it will be even more difficult to survive. We are all running out of the energy for these survival seasons. I dont think anyone has the stomach for it again and I think you eventually run out of chances at this level.
We had a chance to build a side that could push to safety and over 40 points but out recruitment was absolutely diabolical yet again. No other top flight club would consider signing the 4 players we signed.
The level of attacking play on show is an absolute embarrassment to the club and the supporters. How can the club watch it and not react immediately. It absolutely baffles me.
Yep, I think a lot of the luck teams make themselves as well. It's no coincidence that teams low on confidence seem to get endless strings of bad luck. The ball won't bounce the right way, players snatch at chances, make rash decisions etc.Undeniably. But luck or not, we are staring down the barrel of getting cut adrift over the next 3 games.
Couldn't agree more, especially the bit about the stink of defeat. The second a goal goes against us we have no answers. Going to bea long season this one!Not even Dyche can patch this up.
They look a defeated outfit to me. The stink of defeat is all over them.
A disastrous start with zero points and goals underlines the scale of the crisis. If we'd played Arsenal, Liverpool and City then you say "ok, they were always going to be difficult". But we've just played Fulham, Villa and Wolves.
This team as it stands (and I'll throw in Beto) gets maybe 30 points.
The only thing that will shift my estimate there is if we go out and buy 3/4 players of decent enough quality by Thursday. Anything less and we can forget it.
