Luck has absolutely nothing to do with it, the club has been mismanaged for years, money wasted, managers brought in and sacked, wrong players in the wrong places, being bottom of the league is what happens to clubs that are run like ours. Relegation is the outworking of Moshiri and Kenwright’s tenure.

Undeniably. But luck or not, we are staring down the barrel of getting cut adrift over the next 3 games.

I think just about every Evertonian feels , deep down , that this may be a season too far.
We've gone to the well too many times.
With the level of mismanagement and general apathy I detect a sense of " it's our time this time / we deserve to go".
It's sad but probably justified.
Ultimately it's incredible that 3 games into the season there's already an inevitably that we are likely to go down.

The club made no effort to improve the squad for years and made no effort to have a goalscorer for game 1, so why should we not feel its probably our time

Because the club is run terribly.
Nothing has changed at the top so why did people expect any different.

Nothing will change at this club until the two remaining clowns at the top go, and then we have to hope the people who come in are competent business people who understand football. Trust Bill to pick the Billionaire who appears to have got lucky getting rich and not a competent human being!

Those teams have fight. They proved that by getting promotion. We dont.

The nucleus of this team have been through relegation battles before. I don’t think there is a lack of fight. The issue is a lack of quality

We are all fuming and worried with good reason. But let’s take the absolute sh**show of the board out the picture a second, you do get the feeling this week is the most important week of the entire season.

If we bring in Beto, a proven goalscorer who looks made for the PL, Harrison a proven PL scorer, McNeil one of our best performers last season, we will Definitely improve. Hopefully DCL gets out the morgue too
