Bloody marvellous weekendgreat results today...
There is no way Burnley will lose tomorrowWell if Burnley lose tomorrow, it will be that the bottom 6 have won a total of 1 match through the first 20-25 available matches. Its a 6 team race for the bottom.
I agree.
However, it is encouraging just how terrible the teams who came up are.
It's that which will sink them.Need to get some wins soon though as Luton-Burnley has been put in for 3rd October so chance for one of them to get their season kickstarted.
It's a real crucial period for Luton this. They are spirited but early games have shown they aren't good enough in the final third. They now have homes v Wolves and Burnley and trip up here in next three so don't get a win from that and they'll struggle to get much above 20 points.
Agreed...and in an Evertonian's upside down Wonderland World, this makes for a thrilling season.Well if Burnley lose tomorrow, it will be that the bottom 6 have won a total of 1 match through the first 20-25 available matches. Its a 6 team race for the bottom.

On the other hand we now look capable of creating and taking chances.
If we had our season start now with Fulham, Wolves and Sheff Utd in front of us we'd take 6 points minumum.
Unfortunately we've handed a start to the likes of Forest who look set up for the season (personally I dont think they'll stay out of the relegation fight).
If we can just show a bit of fight tomorrow against Arsenal and then go into Luton and Bournemouth looking for the 6 points I will be happy tbh, anything less and I think he will be in hot water.Forest will be fine. Comfortable mid table as they've got real threat in attack with Elanga and Awoniyi (if he stays fit). Wood off the bench as plan B for last 20 minutes isn't bad either. He'd be the most obvious summer signing if Forest hadn't an obligation to buy so imagine him being signed instead of Beto....
I think already the table is splitting into three parts as predicted.
Wolves aren't very good and have lost 4 of their first 5 so Luton away is a very big match for Gary O'Neill next weekend.
Bournemouth haven't won yet and you'd expect them to be down there (think they'll get something off Chelsea).
And promoted three are very poor standard.
Fulham are poorer than last season but they'll get enough wins like today to stay clear.
It's basically a mini league of six so given already lost to Wolves simply have to do better v Luton and Bournemouth otherwise things get terminal for Dyche imo.

You cant judge us on the games without a striker.
If we keep our strikers fit then I can see us nosing our way into a a group of teams between 15th to 11th by end of autumn.
Brave talk from a supporter of a team with 1 point from 12 I know, but I think it's very possible.
We didn't win a game last season until our 7th game either so we were in the mix just as earlyDefence is weaker than last season though so it will balance out. If it can concede two v Sheffield United from their limited attacks it can concede two away to nearly everyone. And Villa game is indication of how well it will hold up v better standard attacks.
Going to have to be capable of scoring 3 regularly to win games this season imo. As good as Beto has looked so far it's big ask. McNeill back and ready to start now is a boost though as he's direct and is always getting shots away.
This season is basically on a knife edge already compared to other years when got round to January or February to experience that pleasure.
