Realistically, Burnley shouldn't get more than 7 points from their remaining games.

I know predictions are pointless but there or thereabouts:

Wolves (H) - 0
Watford (A) - 1
Villa (H) - 3
Spurs (A) - 0
Villa (A) - 0
Newcastle (H) - 1

Wolves are in with a chance of 6th and Villa should be winning one of the games against them given the attacking quality they've got with Coutinho, Watkins, Ings, Buendia etc.

Even if you turn one of the draws into a win, that's still only 7 points, meaning we'd only need 7 ourselves to stay up.
Watford have the worst home record but will be up for it so maybe they share the points
They may beat villa twice
Newcastle on current form will smash them but will they be chilling by then?
I do see Wolves and Spurs winning with whats on the line for them
So best case scenario 5pts to them, worst case 12
If they get 7pts, where do you see our 7 coming from?

Right now, based on form and opposition I see;
Liv 0
Che 0
Lei 1
Wat 1
Bre 1
Pal 1
ars 0

I'm only giving us 1pt for Bre and Pal because we are at home, both are must wins so hopefully both are on the beach
1 pt for Lei because they will be rotating into their 2nd string team but could lose it away
1pt for watford coz away but could go either way
maybe 1/3 v Che but I doubt it
ars will smash us in fight for top 4 at the emirates and liv I wish we could just give them the points so we dont have to endure it

Of course mate especially Chelsea at home not hopeful on the derby but we have to fight for everything

We just can’t have excuses. We need to go to Liverpool to keep a clean sheet. We then need to take Chelsea at home. Other teams have done it. We’re in the last chance saloon. We can’t just let two games go by because they look hard on paper when the likes of Brentford are winning at Stamford Bridge.

I honestly hope we play fro the draw, boring, tight behind the ball. No rush of derby blood, stupid reds etc... just hope pickford plays a blinder and run away with a point...don't see it happening but it's the only chance of anything

We have "stepped up" a few times so it's not outside the realms of possibility we out in a performance or two like against City, its in us to hold the likes of the kopites and have a say in the outcome at our end first and foremost. It's just when we go behind I worry but saying that, they dug in last night when it seemed lost.

It's desperate though.

The added pressure of Burnley being right up our tail might actually help us at the weekend. I’d put my house on this lot throwing the game if they thought they had a 4 point cushion. Now they know they have to get something they can’t just swan up like they’re not in a relegation battle.

We’re scrapping, Burnley are scrapping, if Burnley are good enough to rattle off a load of wins then we have to take that, but just as us beating United didn’t predicate we’d win the next game; Burnley beating a woeful Southampton also doesn’t mean they’re winning out.

It's all this letting certain games pass as "expected defeats" that will kill us in the end. We have lost too many points to bad teams to duck our responsibility to get some of them back against good teams. While any observer would expect us to take a good hiding on Sunday, we cannot think like that. We have to make it a war. We have to fight now. If we don't, we will slide away because this team is not going to reliably defeat Palace, Watford, and Brentford.

Did somebody say we have taken a single solitary point on the road since October? I mean, let's face it, that is absolutely deserving of relegation. Too many of our players seem to be living in a nether world where being relegated does not seem real to them. I can see us dropping now. I've thought this since we lost to Burnley. Some games tell the truth about sides, and we found ours that night. On all reliable form, we are going down. The only way to change that is to go to places like Anfield and get something against the odds. Similarly, we need to beat Chelsea at Goodison. Draws are not useless, but if we let another opportunity to win at home pass, then yes we need to win on the road. Watford is non-negotiable. We need five points from the next three games. Aiming for three is not enough.

Just looking at Leeds fixtures -

Home to City, Chelski and Brighton
Away to Palace, Arsenal and Brentford

They may only need 4 or 5 points to stay ahead of us and Burnley, but where are they going to pick them up ? They're all tough games. And if they were to lose the first four, then Brighton and Brentford would become proper relegation nailbiters.

There's some utter 'kin cry babies on here. Grown men bleating about being relegated...when we are above Burnley by a point with a game in hand, and Burnley just had their biggest banker and it's now played and gone.

Worse than the cry babies though are the ones cracking jokes...and it isn't gallows humour either. They're about as funny as a dose of anthrax and can GTF.
Villa are below Saints, in terrible form and Burnley play them twice. Relegation is a real risk, people are annoyed about it because it shouldn't be a risk so if they want to vent that's their business. We've had to read your posts about wanting Everton to lose to City so you don't get to sit on a high horse 'bleating' at others now. You also said quite a few times that relegation is not on the cards, but it is, you were wrong. It's not over yet, but it's more on that off so go point your finger at your sky blue top

Relegation will be a real eye-opener after the almost continuous good times we’ve enjoyed in the Premier League.

What is the second tier even called? Is it still the Endsleigh League First Division?

Are stabbings and racial abuse more common at these small time, backwater clubs that the Blues will be visiting?

What’s the best shirt sponsor we can hope for? Arnold Clarke?
