If they get beat against Wolves tomorrow these cry babies wont be seen on here.Amazing how many people think Burnley are suddenly a great side and that everyone who plays them don't want to win

Since being beat by Burnley, which was horrible and the first time I thought we would go down, we’ve taken four points from Man U and Leicester - decent.I think we have an air of pessimism as Burnley now have attained 4 points in a week.
Which is 4 points more than similar posts forecast just before those games!
Exactly. Look at that 97/98 team: they were cowards to a man. That's why they took us to the last day hoping Chelsea did them a favour."if we go down we won't come back up for years"
"Team has no passion, no fight, no heart"
"Players don't play for the badge"
"Players paid too much".
I read this earlier today....from an issue of When Skies are Grey, from the "we're deffo going down lot" from April 93 (yes, 93 not 94). The same people now say "at least in the 90s we had passion, fight and heart"".
I dont think they will lose tomorrow. Wolves are not in form and aren't great. Our performance home to them was most frustrating of the season for me. A complete lack of urgency and aggression from usIf they get beat against Wolves tomorrow these cry babies wont be seen on here.
Spot on mate (obvious exception Dave Watson of course), the same people praising them that day, would've gone berserk had Bolton got the draw.Exactly. Look at that 97/98 team: they were cowards to a man. That's why they took us to the last day hoping Chelsea did them a favour.

I'm hoping wolves get something but don't see more than a point

And me i'm in regional VIC, former paddock season ticket holder.Well, now you know me, because I live in Melbourne and am originally from Liverpool (and a former Street End season ticket holder). At least I’ve had the Tigers cheering me up on the AFL front in the last few years!
1994, Leeds away, just before Wimbledon home, big banner was unfurled in the away section “Fight, Bottle, Passion” because so little had been shown in the preceding weeks."if we go down we won't come back up for years"
"Team has no passion, no fight, no heart"
"Players don't play for the badge"
"Players paid too much".

Well, put that first-half chance away and we would have been going in at halt-time at 1-1. A game changer. My original post did mention the finishing but in most game recently we've hardly created anything and seldom test their keeper- this improved vs Leicester (and Burnley) but one before that one or two decent chances a game are not good enough. Yes, Richy missed a sitter but he's been key lately, never stops running and will need to be on form for us to stay up- as he looks our best source for goals- often our only source.
Why do people keep saying we need 3 wins ?
Burnley have won 5 in 32 and have 6 games remaining - why do we think they’re suddenly picking up 9 points?
If anyone watched them play Southampton you’ll know they were absolutely abysmal in the first 20 odd minutes and could’ve been 3-0 down, should’ve been at least two down if Romeu wasn’t pretending to be Richarlison versus Leicester. Then their right back scored the goal of his life, they grew in confidence and Southampton weren’t arsed anymore. This doesn’t make Burnley good!
I feel horrible and nervous about the run in too, but when I take a step back for a second I’d still rather be in our position than theirs.

Burnley at home this stage of the season are tough to beat. I expect Burnley to get somethingWolves have won three of their last five and one of those two defeats only happened after a daft red card.
They are a much better team than Burnley and saying you can only see a point for Wolves shows the bias people have in favour of other teams when theirs is in a relegation scrap.
Burnley have won a couple of games, they are still one of the worst teams in the league.
