He is not the main reason at all and it absolutely baffles me how people think that.

It is all on Moshiri. He owns the club, he chooses if Kenwright or whoever stays.

The buck stops with the owner.
I don't disagree that Moshiri has been a disaster, he has been a weak leader and too easily swayed. But he has only been here six years , Kenwright has been at the helm for over 25 years he is the root cause of the decline of this football club

Well that's what happens when people demand we spend money that we haven't got.

The problem with Moshiri is that on the surface of it he isn't that bad. He puts his money in but when you look into it more he makes some utterly baffling decisions that you could not really predict until he was in the position to do so.

I don't think there is any metric to measure the likelihood of a football club owner racially abusing a players mum, employing a rival clubs legendary manager 10 years past his sell by date or being a bit weird on the Jim White show. Sadly these are things you don't learn about until they actually happen.
He is bad. He is a criminal, he has no interest whatsoever in the club as footballing entity. The reason for his lack of acumen on the footballing side of things is because its not a priority in any way and never has been.

We are simply a vehicle for his and Usmanovs illegal activities.

"I don't think the time is right now to think about England, I think next season or maybe the season after, when the club gets going, that's when I can start thinking about those things a bit more.”

Smacks of complacency, as if it’s a given that we’ll stay up.
Smacks of delusion. Even if we were knocking on the door of the top 4 Holgate would be nowhere near the England squad lollollol

Funnily enough, just been chatting to a Burnley fan who has bought a season ticket for next season as he thought they would be in the championship. Said he’s sick of the PL and what’s the point in being in it.

My accountant is also a Huddersfield fan, said exactly the same and would rather they didn’t go up.

My mates a Villa fan and he said he enjoyed the stint down there and can barely be arsed watching them back in the PL despite having better players on show due to the nonsense of VAR, big 6 dominance etc.

I said to @Bluestar and @Saint Domingo a few days back that I wouldnt be suprised if the PL comes crumbling down in the coming years as people are losing interest in it and with the inflation the likes of Sky Sports and BT packages will be the first to be cancelled over not being able to put food on the table or put petrol in your vehicle.

Monied clubs like Newcastle, Villa, Everton, Wolves and ambitious clubs doing things the right way like Leicester, Palace, WHU wont accept the likes of UEFA giving Spurs a leg up into the CL for finishing 8th which is what will be happening from 2024 under the new CL format.

I knew Moshiri was an absolute weirdo within 6 months of him been at the club and that’s having not met him, when he started making comments about James McCarthy being family. I think Kenwright, having properly vetted him and probably spoken to contacts at Arsenal before selling to him, would’ve or should’ve had some sort of an idea what an absolute danger he was. Kenwright was irresponsible and selfish in selling to this man.

It's so obvious that he would only sell unless he still had a seat at the table. Absolute parasite.

We will stay up. Leeds will get nothing out of the next 3 games. Brighton and Brentford will be hard for them too. Brentford would love to send them down likely to be last game for eriksen too.

We also have a better goal difference. Chelsea will do us a favour with lampard history there and will stroll around v us and beat Leeds 100%

Got a mate who is a Blackburn fan, he is of the same opinion too.

Last couple of pages seem to be about who is the main reason we're in this mess. I don't think you can have a main reason. There's a multitude of factors: kenwright, moshiri, Benitez, the current players, our transfer history, and to a lesser degree Lampard, VAR and fan complacency have all contributed. The perfect storm of crapness.

Moshiri owns the club. Everything that happens is ultimately his responsibility. He could get a new chairman and add new board members tomorrow, if he wanted. Responsibility rests where the control is held.
There is a flaw in this argument and that is not to say that Moshiri does not bear a responsibility.

However as the Chairman of the Board, Kenwright has a requirement to ensure we have strategic direction and good governance. He should obviously consult with Moshiri as owner in respect of business planning but there is a complete lack of any evidence to show that over the term of his leadership we have actually had any plan. Unfortunately Moshiri inherited a club that was failing in governace terms and chose to do little about it.

It is the board of Directors who are responsible for the development of the club.

You are daft if you think that.

A well run club with a long term plan can achieve a position where they are in a place to be challenging for the top 4, especially with the money we’ve spent.

Moshiri has just thought money = success
From the very start we made noises about being able to spend and compete (Martinez quickly started his talking up super positive nonesense) which of course was just an open invite for everyone to pull our pants down.

The owner should replace the board when they don't deliver
