I haven't a problem with Spurs mate but if people think clubs like Spurs or Arsenal finishing 8th and potentially getting into the CL whilst a club like Newcastle with multi billions behind them finishes 7th and gets Europa Conference isn't going to cause friction and/or legal battles then they are naive.

And if the pressure from other clubs doesn't bring change to the current set up long term I think you'll see a decline in interest.

At the moment its a perfect storm for things to go wrong for the PL:

1. Many people haven't returned to the grounds following the Pandemic be it due to health concerns with COVID or they are out of the routine.

2. Cost of living crisis - can fans of clubs like ours justify spending money on season tickets and Sky/BT subscriptions when we're forever midtable making up the numbers?

3. Lack of true competition in the sport - Post 1995 only Leicester, Wigan, Birmingham and Portsmouth have won anything of note outside the "big 6".

4. The VAR/ESL/FFP farces

5. Primadonna players on obscene wages turning up when they want.

A lot of people are losing interest in it all. I watch Everton games and Championship/League One/Europa League. I haven't watched another PL game all season and dont watch the CL not out of protest but because its boring and predictable.

Fair enough. Spurs would argue they have averaged 5th over the last 17 straight seasons so have some history there. Personally, I hate the Premier League. It is 100% about who has the deepest pockets now. Nothing more, nothing less.
I don't subscribe to any services, never watch games that don't involve Spurs and have jacked in my ST.

Kind of agree but before this owner we didn't have these troubles, his overall vision has been blind to the realities of the sport.
Stan wouldn't allow him to have input at Arsenal, now we understand why
That Arsenal points totally irrelevant. Stan wanted control of Arsenal that it and it was Usmanov not Moshiri

Of course it's relevant, they both had no say at Arsenal but turned up here making all kinds of stupid calls not for the clubs benefit, Stan was right to keep them out, it's a shame we didn't.

It’s not mate, Stan had more % of the shares so he was the owner and he was taking money out the club why would he want to share power and share the money he was taking out

As it stands, imo we're favourites to go down. Leeds probably need one more win. Burnley are in good form at the right time.

If we can beat Chelsea the odds shift slightly back in our favour, but only slightly.

I'd almost be happy for us to get to the last day with a chance of staying up now. But I think if we're not safe by the last day Burnley are far more likely to beat Newcastle at home than we are to beat Arsenal away.

If we go down, damage limitation would be to bounce back in a season. It's doable but far from a certainty.

I get that part mate, but what I mean is he has come here and told us what to do, who to hire who to sack...etc without any experience of doing those things. He should of lurked in the background for a bit, not gone in all guns blazing.
He was totally blind to the damage he was doing, and his wealth wasn't of benefit either as I don't believe for a second sone of out financial deals were done for the benefit of the team..

I've been saying for weeks that we're down. I've been trying to come to terms with it and that's because I just don't trust the players to beat anyone. We've already lost to Burnley, Watford and Norwich this season, that's why we're where we are. There is no easier run in where we're concerned.

I don’t disagree he made mistakes, getting 49.9% for a start was a joke. Keeping Kenwright and co was a mistake
He should of bought the club out right
Think he thought like we all did, throw money at it and we be CL team, which had we bought the correct players we would of been

The obsession with trying to take over Arsenal became personal, and we were left with the aftermath.
Moshiri, who knew nothing about football managers, recruited Koemann for no other reason than he believed Arsenal had him lined up to take over from Wenger.
Stan must have been laughing his t"" off

Been trying to come to terms with it for months now. The way the team has played since October has been dreadful (even our wins at the start were far from convincing!).

I think Burnley might even win every single one of their remaining fixtures tbh. They have got the bit between their teeth with the prospect of sending us down. Everyone seems to really hate us with a vengeance. Don't even know why other than being brainwashed by the abysmal agenda driven media.
Yeah some understandable hate from Watford fans and they and their team will be up for that game. We are obviously Burnley's target at the moment and there has been some bad blood over the years with Newcastle fans I believe, which doesn't bode well for us when it comes to their last game of the season.
:(

Mate, my mum passed away on the 20th October last year and almost to the day, the club went into a nose dive so as stupid as it is (and it really is) I started to associate the two completely separate things.
In my completely illogical mind I’ve accepted it’s just something that is going to happen. Doesn’t make it easier but I won’t be surprised if/when it happens
