Can't really understand the hate for us tho... why does everyone seemingly want us relegated... is it because we'd be the biggest club to ever go down from the Premier league ?
Because we've spent a fortune, we've as a fanbase seemingly been unhappy to accept a position that most would consider our level, we have elements of our fanbase insistent on 'chasing our rivals' when it's an absurdity in the current climate, we've been unhappy with players who we're obviously some of our best and we talk about how massive we are despite winning nothing in a generation, it's a talking point for media and fans.

we've spent £500m on players, getting a new stadium, appointed a manager which a lot of people hated and there is a good possibility we will get relegated. of course its funny for everyone else

its like Newcastle that time but even funnier, it's like a season of Dream Team

From inews.co.uk......
On Wednesday QPR striker Charlie Austin said it would be “funny” if the Toffees went down”

I’ve gone right off Charlie.

That kind of stuff I don't mind TBH. Any neutral would more than likely find a big club going down funny. It's more the agenda driven hostile stuff from supposedly impartial media that gets me

also, the majority of the media are reds who take great joy in knocking us or taking sly digs and that pre-dates Moshiri and his money. We have the unfortunate pleasure of sharing a City will a media darling club that can do no wrong. We (and in fairness, everyone else bar United) will always be portrayed as the bad guys.

There are quite a few fans who have an entirely unjustified sense of entitlement. We have been in an absolute mess for some time with losses racking up at an alarming rate.

People speculating on huge summer spending sprees when it’s obvious we are constrained by FFP.

A disastrous manager merry go round and absolute disdain for young players coming through.

We deserve what’s coming.

We fans forced him out because we finished 8th.

We wouldn’t be in this mess had we stuck with him.

Don’t get me wrong: I prefer Lampard to Sam because Sam’s teams didn’t play attractive football, but the guy was a safe pair of hands.
Mate Big Sam was a long time ago, and very few if any wanted him, saying we would not be here today is not true as no one knows, he always knew as it was said at the time that he was likely going at the end of the season and only wanted more than a 1 year deal knowing he would get the whole of his contract payed up as we are that stupid, he told many lie's about how we performed and as we know, we had like 3/4 games in a row were we got battered by Chelsea for one in that 0-0 and had no shots on target which had not happened in many many, years.

With regards to FL sanctions, the accounts we release in May are usually for the previous season - is that right? So I imagine, next May we would release losses based on a season in the PL. If we are in the Championship, I would presume the FL wouldn't sanction us based on accounts when we were trading under a different set of rules? If that's the case, does that mean if we were to come straight back up then we would avoid any potential issues with P&L rules?
