If they beat Watford and get another result or two they'll be on 36-38 points. 2 wins and draw sees them on 38 pts. Not sure why you think they won't get that when the season is over for the teams they play bar Spurs who are fighting top 4 and Watford who are fighting to survive. Villa will beat Norwich for 40pts and once safe Gerrard will happily gift Burnley 6 points at our expense. Newcastle is Burnleys last game of the season and they're safe now thanks to Howe thus they will have nothing to play for come the final day.

From Watford, Villa x 2 and Newcastle last day of the season that's an easy 7-9 points for them. So we need to somehow pickup 10+ pts ourselves from our 18 available pts.
I just don't think they will but that's me. If we had mentioned those fixtures before the managerial change we wouldn't have given them much chance. Gerrard won't want to lose and Newcastle at home isn't easy. It can flip again. They aren't prolific scorers but they have the fight.I agree we need ten plus though

Can you show your working out please?

I feel like we haven’t had enough of that in this thread.

Can someone PLEASE do a post where they list our fixtures vs the teams around us and how many points each team will amass in each fixture? Thanks.

I need my fix.

I figure its between us and Leeds so not bothering to predict Burnley's run in

Leeds current 34 pts
City - 0
Arsenal - 0
Chelsea - 0
Brighton - 1
Brentford - 1

Leeds Finish - 36 pts

Everton current - 29
Chelsea - 1
Leicester - 0
Watford - 3
Brentford - 3
Palace - 1
Arsenal - 0

Everton Finish - 37 pts

....and yes I really do predict we win 2 in a row including one on the road, as well as the last day being a tad nauseous.

You have to include Burnley

Burnley current 31pts

Watford A - 1
Villa H - 3
Spurs A - 0
Villa A - 1
Newcastle H - 1

Burnley finish - 37 pts

Im being positive with all those results there too. I think Burnley and Leeds could potentially get 38-40 points. Leeds could easily win the Brentford game or cause an upset. Burnley could easily beat Villa and Newcastle both with nothing to play for assuming Villa beat Norwich this weekend. I honestly think to stay up it comes down to us getting 4 points away and 6 points at home.

I think we will beat both by Chelsea and Leicester

…..the darkest managerial appointment in our history has resulted in the darkest hour in our history. The irony is our rivals have rarely been stronger & one of theirs inflicted the final sickness.

The next month will be bad, the next month will likely be very sad & I feel most for our wonderful supporters.

Up the Toffees.
