Benitez got us just six points in his last THIRTEEN matches!!

He hasn't improved us though really. Burnley have had a new manager bounce which has pulled them ahead of us, Leeds have had a new manager bounce which has pulled them further ahead of us. Our new manager has taken us down into the relegation zone. We may still get out of this but it looks unlikely. I see the managerial fault in our demise to be equally split between Benitez and Lampard. Frank has had half a season to ensure we didn't end up where we are and has failed. It would be a mistake to give him a free pass because he's not Benitez

Of course the ultimate blame has to lie at the feet of those running the club

I think we’ll go on a run, because we have to. Performances have improved recently and I think we’ll pull out some good results. Either way I predict we’ll be going into the Arsenal game with our future still in our hands, but we’ll be praying for those around us to lose.

I think that is pretty feasible. Leeds' run in especially still leaves me with hope. But if Leeds pick up any points in their next 3 games then that hope will evaporate pretty sharpish lol

Leeds will go absolutely gung ho on Brentford and treat it like a cup final the same way Bournemouth did to us on the final game of the season when they beat us 3-1 at goodison park even though we had Ancelotti

Another prediction. I know it makes some of us feel better but it's a pointless exercise. We still have a chance of staying up but we need to beat Chelsea first otherwise I can't see a way out. Just take it one game at a time.

Unfortunately, it won't be the forthcoming games that kill us off, it's the missed opportunities earlier in the season. That loss to Burnley was unforgivable.

There is likely to be unexpected results from else where also, so who knows what we would actually need, I’d still prefer Burnley to go rather than Leeds, but obviously I’d take either rather than us.
