We put a shift in against Utd, took a point against Leicester and worked our socks off against Liverpool at the pit.

If Lampard had better game management the Burnley game would have been a win/draw for us and their season wouldn't have kick started with a big win over us.

That game single handedly could cost us this season.

To be fair lampard couldn’t kick the ball for Godfrey, players have to take responsibility.

We won't know for a couple more games but I think we'll be down before the last match this time. I just can't see this lot getting enough wins. Burnley are almost safe now with only one top half team to play. If we need a win, Arsenal away is a lot harder than Wimbledon and Coventry at home.

Burnley have Villa at home next which is another win.

It all depends on the attitude from Villa. There is a huge gulf in quality between that Villa team and the Burnley one

….you still burning a candle for Benitez after openly posting you’ll be happy with us being relegated.

Lampard has been poor but never forget Benitez was disastrous, this situation isn’t down to the Burnley game.

Very harsh to single out Kenny in that game. DCL, Gordon and Godfrey also all made bad mistakes.

This is by far the worst position I have ever seen the club. There is absolutely no reason to be optimistic other than false hope. Our only way out is winning football matches and we can't win 2 matches in a row. This is our own fault and no one is going to save us.

This is completely different. We have been stagnating since the wheels fell of for Martinez. We're a financial mess and the players we have don't have the stomach for a fight like teams of old.

I'm seriously worried about the club now. Even if we stay up I don't fell like there is anyone in the board room who can take command and steady the ship. To quote Carlyle, we have "sham captains" who will run is aground.
