where there's life there's hope, but does this present Everton team have the stomach and the steeled backbone necessary for the fight. I doubt it...but you never know; they're a capricious outfit
 
Our hope is that one of Leeds or Burnley get no more points this season.

And even if that were to happen (and there’s a little hope with some of Leeds fixtures) we still really need 6 points from 6. And that’s no easy task in itself.

I still think we will do it, but I’m starting to run out of sensible ideas of how it might happen and I’m now into Roy of the Rovers stuff.

I think a win tomorrow is not out of the question. Even a draw is a point closer to Leeds. I can see us getting something at Leicester - especially as they go to Rome a few days later. Then we have to play Watford, a side who have lost their last 11 at home. If we cannot win there, why would we even bother lamenting relegation? We will have richly merited it. But a win there is possible. With five points from these games, we have then two home games with Brentford and Palace. Another four points there would take us to 9, and then we are off to Arsenal. I don't think 9 points from the next 5 is far-fetched. Difficult, yes. Impossible? No.

i think as we need a set amount of points

out of 6 games, which we’ve not done consistently prior - is why we’re are worried

but as have to we just have to try and atleast give it a go!

We deserve to drop, Matty. The players are an utter disgrace. But we are not dead yet. If we cannot get something tomorrow, there is no point fretting. The players have to earn it now. Leeds can be caught. We can win one of the next two and then it's put up or shut up at Watford. We should be focused and ravenous now. The manager MUST ensure that tomorrow.
