I think we needed a good ole relegation fight to rediscover what/who we actually are. I hope the scare is over but it's not over until the maths says otherwise for me, but nevertheless I hope our fans continue these efforts in the coming seasons they have been fantastic.

People talk about how long we have been in the top division and I think the fans have proved why, they wont allow it any other way and they will give absolutely everything they have to make sure it stays that way.
I’d like to be a bit safer before we make these declarations
Huge weekend but wins for Leeds and burnley and losses for us and it’s horrible again

Shoot out between Leeds and Burnley now. We should have kept Bielsa even though we were struggling , easier set of fixtures Phillips coming back attacking football I think we would have more points in the bag. Yes we were terrible at your place but the finger is firmly pointed at Radz , Kinnear and the awful Orta. I am still hoping Burnley are in more trouble with a few injuries we might just survive. I think the top 2 teams are light years ahead of us, 2 best managers and the finances are making it impossible for decent sized clubs to compete. Newcastle will be the ones to watch, Tottenham looking at extra financial partners the whole situation seems to be the team with the most money wins, stuff the rest unless you can find a country to back you. I think Chelsea might even find it difficult to compete.
It’s not over yesterday a couple of freak results and we are right back in the mix. Think your goal difference might cone back to haunt you unfortunately. Id rather burnley go down if i had a choice but being honest as long as its not us i wont loose any sleep. Think mina being injured might hurt us at watford away

We’re not out of the woods yet, not by a long way. Watford are down and we’ve seen before how teams improve when the pressure is off. I’m hoping their lot have such bad attitudes as Foster has suggested that they don’t turn up, but his comments could easily have the opposite effect.

Beat Watford and both Burnley and Leeds lose again and I’ll believe. That’s a lot of ifs again and we’d need everything to go our way again.

No mate

Leeds have played 35, if they lose at Chelsea on weds and we win on weds

We are 4 points clear, that means have to beat Brighton at 2pm on Saturday or they're down.

We play Brentford at 16.30
They could still stay up at Burnley's expense depending on the last day.

Also wary how some think the home games are a bit of a given. I think both palace and brentford fall into that category of tricky teams.
Thankfully lampard is very quick to stamp on complacency in his interviews yest. If there is one thing we know about a lot of this squad is they think they can put their feet up after 1 or 2 results.

I mean anything could happen mate. But in their last game, they got tonked 4-0 at Elland Road. I think sometimes it can be a hindrance, and I'm not sure they are really able to win ugly.

In the last 15 games, they have won 3. 2 are against the bottom 2 teams, and the third was against a side who played most of the game with 10 men, and were comfortably beating them with 11. It's an inexact science, but I'm very wary of Leeds getting many results.

As for Spurs Burnley, I agree. Spurs are on a great run. The worry is Chelseaa form. Theres a credible argument that Chelsea are easier than Brighton currently. Playing under that pressure is horrible though.
It's a tricky one predicting what Leeds will do. I have watched both their last 2 matches, they were not too bad against City, funnily enough and a 4 goal margin was flattering to City. Yesterday, however, if Arsenal had taken even half their chances Leeds would have been on the end of a real hammering.

All this relief-induced talk of us being in any way out of the woods worries me. We are ONE point above two teams fighting for their lives. We MUST win at Watford on Wednesday or the blood pressure will rocket again. Any subconscious let up now will bite us hard at Watford. They are down and will play with freedom. We must show the same application as we have recently and remain utterly focused on the job in hand. This is not the time for the big cigar act. There will be twists and turns yet. What if Leeds beat Chelsea? That's far from impossible. We need to drive this home on Wednesday. For all the plaudits that have come Frank's way yesterday and last week, they won't count for much if we lose at Vicarage Road on Wednesday. The pressure is very much still on us. Let's embrace that and do our job at Watford. Then we might have earned the right to take a glance down.

Let's not get complacent. We still should be targeting two more wins.

Pressure off Watford, it's a free hit for them. We need to start quickly and not give them the chance to ease into the game.
Could go either way, they might be looking at that summer break with one eye on getting injured
