well we can be terrible as we're a few points ahead of the other terrible teams

This is true. But if it goes to the final day, I have a horrible feeling. If we go down, we are going down in the most horrible, unimaginable way.

Thursday is the day to do the job. Otherwise, I am going to lie down in a dark room from 4pm - 5.55pm on Sunday and then check my phone....

Reckon that there are very few teams nowadays that "go on holiday" when they're safe because there is always something to play for given that each place in the league is worth an extra few million. Arsenal Brentford Norwich etc will all be playing to win at the weekend make no mistake about that.

Going out for a meal and some drinks Thursday night and hoping that's the end of it. 1hr45mins or so goes so much fast when you're doing something else

True. I think only wolves look on the beach.
Lots of talk aswell about leeds. Not inconceivable burnley wont pick up much(hope not jinxed it)
Newcastle looked at it last night. Hopeful eddie howe has them at it again sunday.
As much as i really dislike our lack of quality we just need one more gritty result against palace. We were getting that against brentford until the red.

I’m wondering what to do Sunday should it go to the wire. Would hiding in a hole, climbing a mountain etc be classed as cowardice( awol in the face of battle etc)?
I’m still suffering from PTSD from the 1994 and 1998 shows

First goal and disciple is huge.

The amount of red cards we have had is staggering - and the Allan one aside they have all been due to lack of discipline and silly mistakes and have cost us big time.

We keep 11 men on the pitch and have a vaguely competent back 4 and we can snatch a win. It won’t be pretty and it’ll be tense but think we can do it.
We have to get a draw if not a win too. It's absolutely vital that Burnley go into the final game needing all 3 points to stay up.

If we have both Leeds and Burnley in that position we can have a bit of confidence that we can survive without beating Palace or drawing / beating Arsenal.
