We’ll have Gray and Doucore back soon, so we shouldn’t have to watch the likes of Gomes strolling around in midfield.

We still have it in our own hands, and teams like Leicester and Wolves are beatable at home with the fans up for it, along with the likes of Brentford, Newcastle, and Palace.

Thats where we need to get 15 points from. I dont see it happening.
Points can be picked up anywhere providing there is fight.

What concerns me is if just ONE player is having a bad game it seems to drag the entire team down.

I felt like we rushed everything yesterday. Needed someone to shield the ball calmly and play a straight forward pass

I've already told all my football mates that I fully expect us to go down this season, which is 100% the truth. Getting it out of the way now will hopefully make it less painful when it ultimately happens, because I'll be able to say "yes, I said that would happen months ago" to them while they're all laughing in my face.
I think in Benitez's last games we were at our lowest point. Frank has come in, and I see the improvement.

His aim is to keep us up this season, doesn't matter how. We then get rid of all the deadwood contracts that will terminate at the end of this season, sell DCL to sort out our FFP problems, buy "Frank Players" and next season we are on the up.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

No chance of relegation. There’s three far worse teams below us (not that this makes it good) and I look at Brentford, they are dropping like a stone.

Southampton are playing superbly well right now, away from home, it’s not a surprising defeat.

Chill folks.
They hadn’t lost at home since September and were virtually at full strength so it was far from an easy game

From Sky Sports

“Everton's haul of 22 points from their first 23 games in the Premier League this season is their worst tally at this stage of a top-flight campaign since 1950-51, when they also had 22 and were relegated”

Omens do not look good.

I’m not sure there is enough fight in this squad to keep us up. Key injuries keep on derailing us this season.

I don’t think we would have lost yesterday if Mina, Dray and Doucoure were available.

The problem is as quickly as injured players come back, the next batch of injuries will have happened.

We are never able to field a full strength team.

I wish this was the case but what will probably happen is that this group of players will con Lampard the same way they’ve conned the rest. You can already see it happening. Lampard coming out about what an exceptional captain Coleman is, Holgate and Keane out in favour of him how they feel rejuvenated, even Kenny is now apparently good enough, Iwobi is a different player.

How many times have we had all this nonsense in the past? We all fell for it under Ancelotti at the start as well ‘Keane and Holgate look like different players etc’. They’re not, none of them are, they’ll play up enough to survive the summer window then as soon as they feel there might be a shake up coming in January or the summer after they’ll just get to work on having Lampard out. That’s what these players are, cowardly leeches who are desperate to stay at the club no matter what. We shouldn’t even be considering a contract extension for anyone under any circumstances for a long time. Get these wasters out.

That's a good story mate. It's just the bit about us staying up that might be a problem

I was confident we would stay up before Southampton, nice healthy gap to relegation zone and hoping for a good performance at Southampton after the dross served up at Newcastle.

Now I`m of a different opinion......

Clearly away games are a massive massive issue, I dont think we are getting another point away from home this season. Away games left are Burnley, Spurs, Watford, West Ham, Liverpool, Leicester and Arsenal. Our only away win was v Brighton back in August, 6 months ago. That coupled with 2 of the worst away displays at Newcastle which I thought they`d learnt from but clearly, CLEARLY they havent and they wont.

So we arent getting another point away and we need at least 18 more points from our last 15 games which is a PPG ratio higher than what we`ve had all season. Plus the teams below us all picked up good points away from home and Norwich unlucky not to get something from the RS.

From that perspective we need to win 6 of our remaining 8 home games to even get to 40 points, who have we got? Leicester, City, Wolves, Newcastle, Man Utd, Crystal Palace, Chelsea and Brentford. How many of them will we win? I cant see us winning more than 4 giving us a season total of 34 points and I think that will see us down.....

Gutted it has come to this but I really think we are down and its really depressing, if you are like me this club affects every part of your life and if we go down Everton will be in financial meltdown, to the point we may end up like Derby with massive points deductions in the Championship.

Sad sad times all because of that fat Spanish c**t, yes this is on Moshiri but I bet he isn`t living the same fear every fan is at the moment. We are F**c**d!
