What’s the GOT consensus on Frank if, god forbid, we do go down? (assuming Moshiri doesn’t hit the panic button again before the end of the season). I assume we’d stick with Frank in the Championship? We can’t keep having this managerial revolving door.

For me he has to stay if he wants too, now we got the kopite out we really need stability and chopping and changing would be disastrous.

Besides none of this is his fault the gutless clowns who played for this club have done this for years under various management so sacking Frank would be illogical.

But FSW has left us in serious trouble and caused a lot of disillusionment in the squad with the damage he caused.

In short keep Frank

That isn’t what I asked you.

Explain how it’s delusional to think a team who haven’t been in the bottom three all season will survive relegation?

Because the fact we haven’t been in the bottom 3 all season doesn’t mean anything? We only need to be in the bottom 3 at 4:55pm on match day 38 to be relegated. The table doesn’t care how long we’ve been in it for the rest of the season.

Of course it means something. Common sense and historic league tables will show you exactly how long term league position is an indicator of eventual league position come the end of the season.

It’s why in ten years only two sides have been relegated after being 16th or higher at this stage of the season.

You seem to be getting irked by positivity which is a bit weird. The “delusion” claim is clearly untrue. It’s no less valid an opinion to think we’ll be fine than to think we’ll go down. You’re acting like I’ve said we will finish top 4.

I say he’s a miracle worker if he keeps us up.

Ultimately, it’s not his fault the board went for Benitez, who’s despicable tactics and arrogance put us in this place to begin with, that lies with the board.

We’ve seen with the home games, he’s relied heavily on the fans and he’s used thag to his advantage. The aways were the same broken players, but that’s the issue which has plagued us for years.

We’re in a position where we have to face all of the current top 8 before the end of the season, and we’ve squandered games against our relegation rivals.

It’s the games like Crystal Palace, Brentford, Wolves and Newcastle which will be tough but winnable games, it’s not the fans fault but we can make this a fortress and get us over the line.

Burnley, Leicester and Watford will be massive away games.

Declarative statements like “we will be fine” do irk me actually yes. It’s fine to have the opinion that we’ll eventually be fine, but the writing off of the possibility that we could be relegated just boils my head, and it isn’t based on any sort of factual evidence at all.

Yeah, I don’t actually like those odds. Why couldn’t we be one of those two teams?
