I'm not a big fan of the ignore button, but you're right - we're nowhere near safeAnother one on ignore, where are all these whoppers coming from.
I don't know Dave. To go that hard at United at home with that crowd and go 2 down and get it to 2-2 and continue to lose 4-2
Thats gonna be a gut wrencher for their players.
Their defence is a total mess too, its arguably worse than ours, they are forever in 6s and 7s
Their next games are Liverpool, Spurs and Leicester - Similar to us I guess
Where we are now has been six years in the making……….Let's also be honest about this (and honesty is what we need at this point in time) the fact that our supporters have not got behind a manager for a large chunk of this season has contributed to where we are right now. Outsiders to the club would have no problem in observing that. Most got behind Benitez and gave him a chance; many many others refused to do that and when the results were turning poor their impact was enormous in affecting the way the majority of Evertonians felt about the season and the manager.
We have to be big enough to recognise that as a major issue for where we are now if we're to use the rest of the season to get behind these dossers in blue shirts to get them over the line. There has to be a mea culpa here because it's a big dimension to this predicament.
There's a lot of blame to go around here.

Changed it very slightly for you Mr K !The previous manager is too low on that list, Dave.

...If any one had said to me 10 years ago Everton FC would be managed by Allardyce and Benitez in the not too distant future I’d have laughed in their face!
Certain fans - Proper genuine fans only want what’s best for the football club, to see a degree of competence at board level, and see players who give their all on the pitch and actually want to play for the club and aren’t just perceived as a money grabbing mercenaries who go through the motions just to see their contracts out? People who in anyway “blame” the fans for the predicament we are in are way off target!
They ran rings around man u for the first 45 minutes orso yesterday, without bamford (18 pm goals 19/20)and philips. Leeds have a good run coming up in march and 2 winnable games later on against watford and brentford. If they get Bamford back I can see them getting the points needed tostay up.They're not cut out for a relegation battle with the way the Bielsa plays and how bad their defence is.
The better teams pick them off and they were well beaten at Goodison last week.

Did you watch the game? Man u scored because better quality but Leeds ran all over them and got into scoring positions plenty. What are you on about? They were 2-0 down at half time and hadn’t been in the game..

Still I think their wage bill is 19th of the premier league? We are a much bigger club financially and shouldnt be nea rthem, but here we are. They'll probably get out of it and are 5 clear of the drop so losing the next 2 should still keep them clear. If they end up in the bottom 3 though I think it'll be difficult for them to get themselves out of it.
I suppose it's very similar to us really. About the same position, good attacking quality, big club, partisan home crowd can roar team on but are too easy to score against.
