Brentford will get dragged into it soon, they have a faux position due to playing 26 games.

I think Burnley will get out of it.

Leeds are firmly in it too, I think you can only keep up with Bielsas methods for so long until you get burnt out and their squad is pretty awful

Watford will become much more solid under roy, those 1-0 away wins against the likes of villa is something I just can't see us doing. I think roy will be quietly confident of putting a run together and getting out

Newcastles last 4/5 games are horrendous so they really need to get points on the board now, they are on a decent run but could easily lose 3/4 on the bounce

Norwich will go down with a fight but they are too far away.

We will stay up, but need to rely heavily on home form to get the points.

Just did the Echo predictor.

Did it really quick with a gut feeling for results and not rationalising it.

I had us in 15th on only 35 points and below us
Palace
Burnley
Brentford
Watford
Norwich

What a quick romp through all the fixtures shows is that all the teams down the bottom have very tough games to come.

Hopefully we beat the drop but im not super confident

I just read an article about the relegation battle, the main thing I took from it was that we have been averaging 1.5 points per home fixture, we have 8 home games giving us 12 points, total of 34. That will be enough to keep us up. Given we now appear to have Doucoure back and hopefully DCL getting more match sharp we should keep ourselves up. However I cannot see us keeping Richy or DCL if he scores a few between now and the end of the season. Given that we have to replace more than half our first team squad summer is going to be interesting.

Staying up is one thing, resolving to learn from and not repeat mistakes is another. If we do not do that, then we will go down eventually. I'm not confident on that score unless this proves to be the scare that Moshiri seemingly needs.

I'd be resigned to having another difficult season next year with rebuilding but even so it wouldnt be as bad as this.

Never again must we be resigned to accept the rubbish on display last Saturday as a default showing. It was never acceptable, never justifiable, and never will be.

this, the only reason i don't think we will go down is purely because we are lucky enough to have teams below us who are even worse.
I’m not sure they are worse though.

On paper our squad should be ok if we keep injury free, but they are not really performing.

Let’s hope we can keep raising the team at Goodison. I think we also need a bit of luck with injuries. Heaven knows we need nome.

We are bottom of the table based on games since November I think. Maybe Leeds changed that.

I think we'll stay up but I certainly wouldnt put money on it. We have no guarantees until we are mathematically safe.

These players cannot be trusted. They are the worst we have had in my 40 odd years supporting.

That would be incredible. The yardstick used to be 38-40. It is a terrible indictment of this crowd of Muppets if we stay up with 31 points.

Burnley could/should recover a fair bit. Main issue/saving grace is just how poor the promoted teams are, with the exception of Brentford's good start and we gifted the three of them wins.

Fancy Leeds to finish above Brentford. They’ve got better players.

Watford Norwich Burnley still the three for me to go down with hopefully Brentford being the one to drop in if one suddenly finds form.
One of Watford and Norwich and Burnley could easily just get a lucky game and give them a bounce and a will to survive and end up winning a couple on the trot. Who's to say what could happen. Cant nonchalantly write teams off when there is like 2 points between us and them and we've won 2 games in the last 16 or something.

I don’t think I’ve nonchalantly written anyone off. Just given a prediction of who I think will go down. Yeah if one of them reel of three wins on the spin then that will clearly change things.

We are gonna need to pull a top quality result from the likes of City, Chelsea, Utd at home or Spurs, rs away.

It isn't as cut and dried as looking at a Watford or Burnley and thinking "yeah, we'll get 3 points from them".

When we can't win, it's so important to at least grind out a point here and there as that'll make a massive difference come the end of the season.

Something we dont really seem capable of at times, i could take defeat if we had played well and lost, but now is not the time to play well and lose, we need every point we can get

Precisely, we will probably drop some points against Burnley, Watford etc.

They are not gimmies either
