If (big if) we get relegated our first XI from current squad will likely be

Begovic
Patterson, Godfrey, Bran flake, Myko
Gray, Davies, Townsend, Gordon
Rondon, Dobbin

I'm not sure we'd get promoted with current players. Stating the obvious we need to survive, but each passing week my confidence diminishes.

I don't think that would be our team should we go down. If it is, then we will be facing a relegation battle in the championship next season.

Will have to see how these next 2 matches go before saying that mate.

Win both and we'll be OK. Lose both and it is more than likely farewell to the Toffees.
Thinking about it rationally yes I agree but most years in the PL you see a team, seemingly dead and buried, string results together at the end of the season winning games you would think they had no possibility of winning. It would not surprise me if the points we require came from unexpected results

I can’t see Richy leaving us even if (and an unlikely if) we go down after what he said about dreaming of playing in the Champions League one day for Everton. He seems to love the club, could be wrong but all the noises he makes is that he loves it here

It's amazing what confidence can do for players, God knows where it's coming from at the moment though :/ not as bad as they look that's for sure, cutting out basic errors is a must though, better team against Tottenham before the [Poor language removed] ups

We hired a baby who is learning on the job, next to no experience and is poor defensively when it comes to tactics.

imho we hired him at the wrong time. We hired a manager who is attacking oriented and doesn’t know what a dog fight is, when we needed a steely manager who knows what a relegation fight is all about, where a sit back behind ten men for a point counts for something.

i got laughed at when I said fat Sam would have been a better choice, he would of. He would have us defensively better and each point matters in a relegation scrap.

You make a good point, Lampard will be great - long term I’m sure. However I thought we required a large Samual rescue job, we looked that bad, as we do now. Nobody ever wants an Allerdyce but sometimes you need one?
