Need Wolves to get a result Thursday. Hopefully a physical game that takes a bit out of them before we play them.
To be fair, we should beat them with as you say with Wolves playing Thursday, gives them no real time to rest, but there has been many times in similar situations were Everton despite a week off, and the oppo having days off, that we made it look like we played 48 hours earlier etc, but i do think we will beat Wolves

positives - we are still not in the relegation zone and can tick off man city and spurs

negatives - if we don't get at least 4 points from the next 2 home games then we could be in doo doo land with liverpool, chelsea, arsenal, man utd, west ham and leicester still left to play out of the remaining 11 games

We should look to the Geordies really. They've had a god awful defence all season yet have turned it around and are now keeping clean sheets.

I couldn't name you one of their defenders in their last game, but they're no better than what we have available; so what are they doing that we should be doing as well.

They have had Trippier (injured now), Schar, Burn and Targett. Every one of them is better than what we have tbh.

I'm still confident our home fixtures will see us through to safety. Didn't sleep very well last night though.

If we lost every away game we should still have enough at home to see us safe.

Even then though you'd hope for a win at either Burnley or Watford at least.

I agree @MACCA75. I wanted us to go for Lascelles a couple of years ago, when it became clear that Keane was a lost cause. And some on here were laughing when they signed Burn. He might be a bit of a grock, but that’s what you need in a relegation fight, not a mouse at CB, like we have.

To be fair, I forgot about Burn.

Not playing Michael Keane.

If we keep getting snotted in every away game, can this group of players keep their heads up for the home games, even with the backing of a fervent crowd? We only need to concede first, heads will drop, and the crowd will get anxious. If we don't at the very least win one of the next two home games, I fear we're screwed. Our relegation rivals will be looking forward to playing us.
