Aye, all of those teams stank of mismanagement at multiple levels over a period of time. You can chuck Sunderland and Wolves in there too. The rot behind the scenes needs sorting at Everton too.

Some may argue booting Brands is part of that, but my worry is that the person / people who hired both Walsh and Brands are doing said booting. And will then decide the way forward. In short - I don't trust the right decisions will be made based on previous form.
Yeah definitely Sunderland, which is a really worry , and plenty of others . We’re drifting into situation that feels inevitable, “too good to go down” becomes “where did it go wrong ?” .

I’ll be delighted if we beat the teams around us and ease away but it doesn’t change the fact we’re rightly being spoken about in this mess because we’re dreadful .

It's not just this season - next could be grim if we get things wrong again.

The key to surviving a relegation battle is taking points off the teams fighting with you. I’m genuinely concerned that we won’t beat Norwich away & Newcastle have way more fight than we do, I can’t see us coming away with anything at St James Park. We really needed a win yesterday.
We need points in the next few weeks if we are needing points in April we will be struggling big time

We need to act now, if we don't act now we will go down, our end of season fixtures aren't kind at all.

The change needs to happen and it needs to happen ASAP.

I'm worried we will beat Leicester, simply as they have 5 players away at AFCON, although 3pts will be most greatly welcomed, it will only prolong this untenable situation, and give him more games In which he's shown he isn't capable in setting a team up to win.

if we survive this year, and i think we will, then what ?

stick with this useless manager for another season - whilst all the teams around us get better

It can happen to us at some point soon, we've been chronically mismanaged no doubt, but even under Silva and Koeman we never looked this clueless

get rid of the manager asap

I'm worried because we are getting very few points from must win games against teams around us. We need to remove Benitez I can't see it improving.

We are in a false position at the moment. We have had most of our easy home games and that's where we've got points. A truer reflection of the season would have us on about 12 points. If we play the same way for the rest of the season I think we'll end up on about 30 points. I'm not sure if that will be enough.

It's sad but I think at the moment I wouldn't really care too much if we got relegated. I can't see Richarlison and DCL staying and they are the only chance we have to get better. If they leave we are finished for the next few years anyway. Unbelievable how Moshiri has managed to make such a Horlicks of it.

Teams that regularly change managers go down sooner or later, we've been doing it for a while now, we aren't immune from it. Imigine spending the money we have only to have a relegation battle.
The incompetence at this club is monumental, hundreds of millions spent, a manager most don't want here, players who came in for big money on big wages that wouldn't actually look out of place in the Championship.

Oh you should care because what happens next would be brutal and extremely painful

We certainly aren’t finished if DCL and Richarlison leave. We will receive a big enough fee for both to heavily reinvest.
