If it is 2 wins in 13 currently then on average that puts us 6 wins for the season?

That is relegation form.

Our good start seems to be the difference between bottom 3 and not bottom 3 , given how bad the teams below us are.

We have to start winning and winning consecutively. An odd win here and there will keep us up as 3 of the 4 below us won't match that. But for the good of the team, we need to be getting points on the board very quickly to get comfortable.

Otherwise all it takes is for Watford burnley and Newcastle to outpoint us for a few weeks to being the house of cards down. Not really ideal given we are bringing In the managers players.

I live in Sheffield where both teams have been up and down the divisions. It's not the end of the world, you just adjust your expectations.
Sorry no chance , I don’t live in Sheffield and no offence I don’t care about them or their journeys up and down the divisions. I care deeply about this club and the idea we’re discussing accepting relegation for a team I saw dominate is frankly close to heartbreaking.

It's not good I agree, but my dad saw us relegated. Can you see us challenging the"big 6"? If not we could come between 7th and 17th for the next ten years. I just don't see the point of Everton these days, we're a directionless dinosaur of a club.

We have 20 games left at this point and we have 19 points. If we say we need 40 then we need 21 points to be assured of safety. Even with our poor squad that should be possible. Hopefully we add a few players to the squad and can get 6 wins and 3 draws out of those 20 games.

In the premier league it’s hard to judge where those points will come from, I just hope we don’t go into the final day needing a result

Spot on said the same myself.

Unless you're competing for trophies or Champions League you're just another of the 13-14 sides who are used as Cannon fodder in a corrupt league where you cant even celebrate a last minute winner anymore incase VAR rules it off because of a toenail offside.

Honestly couldn't care less what league we are in at present I'll still go the games and get behind the side.

For anyone saying relegation isn’t the end of the world.. it would be absolutely disastrous and there is no way on earth this club should even consider it.. we’re not Wolves or Leeds ffs

Villa nearly went bust and spawned a play off win to save themselves, Wolves and Sunderland went to league 1. Relegation would be massively toxic (goes without saying), and any of the half decent ones (DCL, Pickford, Richarlison) would be straight off. Leaving us with a squad full of mentally weak and ineffective players that look like they want to be anywhere else but on the pitch playing for Everton 95% of the time.

Getting relegated is never the answer. And anyone who says they aren’t arsed needs to question their love for this club.

the club arent considering it, hence the 40m spending spree.

what it does do is remove the ridiculous argument around transfer funds that the pigman's supporters have tried to make.

I should have said the fans or anyone associated should consider it* which is more apt. Just seen people say it wouldn’t be the end of the world, when it would.
