We have 20 games left at this point and we have 19 points. If we say we need 40 then we need 21 points to be assured of safety. Even with our poor squad that should be possible. Hopefully we add a few players to the squad and can get 6 wins and 3 draws out of those 20 games.

In the premier league it’s hard to judge where those points will come from, I just hope we don’t go into the final day needing a result
We won't even need 40. Problem is the manager. Totally clueless tactically and someone who has destroyed the morale at the Club in just 4 months.
A couple of Aspirin doesn't cure a cancer.

Looking at the fixtures, below are the ones I would say we can get something from.

Norwich away
Villa home
Leeds home
Southampton Away
Wolves home
Watford away
Palace home
Leicester away
Brentford home
These are the ones we all usually would expect something. The issue isn't whether we have the players capable of beating them but whether the manager believes we can win and set the team up accordingly.

We are unbelievably negative, defending a 0-0 from the first whistle. It wouldn't surprise me if he stuck 5 at the back against Hull.

Look at the previous fixtures and tell yourself that, the only points we’ve take in the last 3 months are against Chelsea arsenal Spurs and united

usually I'd agree, but I just don't feel confident about playing anyone at the moment, you could put our lads out against a Sunday League side and I'd still expect to concede from a set-piece in the first 20mins

And for the few that have said they’d be ok with us going down, give yourselves a slap round the head, if we did get relegated we wouldn’t recover, we’d do a Sunderland and drop like a stone
Relegation would be the death of Everton. We have one glimmer of hope and that’s the Stadium. We go that goes with any hope of building to the future. We all no the manger and team aren’t great and the Stadium isn’t going to be an instant fix but it is literally the only thing keeping some fans going at the moment. With the hope of when it’s done we can build a world class team to go with the world class stadium.

It's sad but I think at the moment I wouldn't really care too much if we got relegated. I can't see Richarlison and DCL staying and they are the only chance we have to get better. If they leave we are finished for the next few years anyway. Unbelievable how Moshiri has managed to make such a Horlicks of it.
100% this! Unbelievable how a bloke who is apparently an “accountant” (?), and supposedly a billionaire in his own right, can make so many continually poor decisions!
