If the fee is close to 35M, with 15M in performance add-ons and the alleged tapping up of Silva is resolved, I would think that is a win-win for everyone. Watford gets what they think are owed to them, we don't have any potentially damaging legal problems, we also get a young talent that has worked with our current manager to much success. The way the market is going, who says we couldn't profit on transfer fees in a few years anyway? Not to mention he answers 2 of the biggest complaints from the fan base, pace and having another competent striker.
I realize most people come to forums just to **tch and moan, so this post is actual pointless, but here we go anyway.
There are some kopites on here but there's a disturbing amount of babyishness from Blues on here.
Dont' spend anything....omg Moshiri is a fraud....everloan wah wah wah....three weeks to goooooo!!!!
Spend on a HUGELY talented player and everyone whimpers about it being too much.
Kinell, it's pathetic.
Can’t wait til he bosses it and we can revise who the idiots are.Glad to see we’ve learnt from our mistakes and Brands will be so much better than Walsh.
Idiots.
Agree completely. Ready to get behind him and the whole squad. My fear over the madness of this move will have to subside.
I’m all for giving players a chance.
And the fee isn’t his fault at all. Just feels like last summer to me this move.
Kinda makes the original post redundant then.

Honestly I'd rate moderate success in the Prem over what those players did in lesser leagues but who knows. My guess is of that 1 of those 3 becomes a truly top player but I'm sure if we wouldn't get the right oneI'm not sure it's that mate. I think the problem is currently there are a wide plethora of opinions on how we want to go forward. That goes alongside Evertonians being a bunch who enjoy a good moan, you will often get people moaning whatever happens.
There are positives and negatives to the signing. Overall I'm not massively keen, but there are upsides too. I think we could have got better in (Kluivert, Malcolm, Lozano) but it's doubtful we could attract them so in some ways it's irrelevant.
Even more so to then come on again to then critique the said posters who have given question....your hiding nothing Brands...I am amazed by all the people who seemingly start everyday by dropping into our boardroom for an in depth briefing about the state of our finances both currently and in the future.
Then dropping into our DoF's office for a full report on the players available , their price and who we are specifically targeting and who we are declining.
Then finishing off with a visit to the training ground to hear how Silva is planning to build the team and the players he will require to achieve success.
Busy day that!
But they still find time to come on here to declare they could do everything better.
Got to respect that dedication.

Sorry mate I didn’t realise that £50m was your money.I complain there is no food in the house but if my wife spent £120,000 on a single packet of crisps I'd be more annoyed with that than I was with the lack of food.
