But Perisic and Insigne won't come here. Insigne is a 5'4" midget too. 29 and 27 respectively.

Insigne may be a member of the Lollipop Guild but he's quality and, most importantly, wreaks havoc offensively...like few, if any of our squad does. This is all I'm trying to get across. The amount of squad players we have that have both the experience and quality to make us a threat is horrific. These types cost money, you can't keep livin' on a prayer.

Not excited about this. Splashing 50 million on him when Max Meyer is a free agent. Makes no sense to me at all.

How do we know that;
A) We haven't approached Max Meyer
B) He hasn't been approached by another club (or several) with good offers already
C) Marco Silva simply believes he wouldn't fit into the system he plans on playing
D) He may just not want to join us, if we have approached him.

NO , it’s not just you. 50m buys you a good proven player still , even in this crazy market. Lozano would be nearly half the price

"Real deals" have a minimum of three years of consistency in their game...this dude's got about maybe half a season. Never mind the fact that this crop of Brazilians have proven to have the mental strength of a wonton from one of your local asian all-you-can-eat joints.

Less risky then a young player with experience in the premier league. That has worked with our manager before and perfectly fits into his system and style of play?

The way I look at it is we're paying the 35 million we were going to pay for malcom. Everyone was happy about spending it then. On some midget from a crap leauge who's never thrown in a tackle in his life. Regardless of how good he was going forward silvas style requires the wide players to have a defensive edge to them, malcom is lacking in this area to say the least.

My point being individual brilliance isn't what we need now. What we need it to bring players in that will fit our system and make us a team.

Are Watford sueing is for Marco at the moment? As far as I can see we approached Watford for him, offered money, they said no, we got sam, they sacked Marco and claimed it was our fault (he didn’t quit) , we then played the season out , sacked sam, got Marco ?
