Can I introduce you to ArsenalTV?
It's already been confirmed its not 50 million and 35 rising to 40.
You will see a lot of posts complaining that we spent big money on players whose value won’t increase (Sigurdsson, Bolasie, Klaasen etc) and we should have bought younger players with potential. You will also see a lot of posts saying we shouldn’t be gambling on potential when we need established players for now.
Both arguments have their merit, both have their flaws. The crux of it is, Silva and Brands need to decide which one they are going to do. No matter which option they choose, a lrge section of the fanbase will be unhappy and say they are doing it wrong.
I mean no one really knows but I think it's a fair shout, First season in Premiership first season in England etc, Lad is only 21 remember. So we're pinning our hopes on his disastrous second half of the season being down to tiredness/Silva leaving right?
How about we just get behind the lad and hope that Silva can get the best out of him ?

Do you have a link to said interview sir?
I know that data has been selected to paint the picture of Richarlison not being a great buy, but his situation is just SO much different to any (or certainly most) of those listedQuick and maybe pointless comparison to players in a similar position and their stats at the same age.
Most playing for the top or one of the top teams in their respective leagues with the exception of Alexis Sanchez.
Christiano Ronaldo 2005/06

Luis Suarez 2007/2008
Club Ajax

Also the other stuff aboveSo we're pinning our hopes on his disastrous second half of the season being down to tiredness/Silva leaving right?

1st season in a new league
That league is (arguably) the toughest for new signings to come into
Playing for a much worse team than any in that list
Having already played ~half a season before even starting the PL season.
Manager that signed him left half way thru season
Actually gives me optimism that there's plenty of unexplored potential for him
Also the other stuff above
Bit radical that.
So we're pinning our hopes on his disastrous second half of the season being down to tiredness/Silva leaving right?
