He was asked a direct question about his future, he didn't bring it up. He gave an answer where he states clearly he's happy to be at Everton and wants to win things with Everton.

a lot can change, if in a season or two Barca or Real come looking at him it means he's doing something good and that means we will be playing a lot better to as it goes hand in hand a player shinning and the team playing better because of that. also means we prob be higher up the league and in a more attractive position for players and that could make him stay. who knows but he gave the right answer to the question
If we sign players who get snapped up by Barcelona then we will be in a great position. It means we've had success with them and it makes us a great proposition for young players looking to work their way to the very top, not just a good career.
