He does get fouled mate, the problem is though, when he does get fouled he jumps about ten feet in the air, and when he eventually lands he then rolls around about 50 times, and there's the problem.

All quality strikers get lumps kicked out of them luckily not all of them spend the ensuing 10 minutes sobbing silently whilst snorting grass seeds .

His opening game set the template for his treatment. He got wound up and reacted. It’s been obvious from then on that they’ve targeted him and a few players in each team take a turn at him. His response of late is to do sulky somersaults.

Agree with that, he's a real talent and only 21, all top class players have a part of their game that people don't like such as going to ground easily, seem to remember everyone hated Christiano Ronaldo when he was young and new in the league because he was always rolling around but they grow up, we've just got to coach it right and we have a real class Brazilian in our team

Probably not, but when are opposing players supposed to make you happy?

A guy embellishes and whatever, it's apart of the game whether you like it or not.

Just think it's been programmed into players of his generation,especially if you were brought up playing in Sth America.

We are never going to get where we need to be if we indulge players like richarlison and pickford who are dining out on a few good moments but show an attitude that can't be tolerated.

Gomes has stunk the gaff out the last two ganes and fans are trying to make out he's backpacked across the Sahara and needs an I.V drip and rest in order for him to pass it to a team mate accurately.

The issue for me is that he's not finding a healthy balance of using snideness (theatrics etc.) and looking like a player who simply dives and is soft in challenges.

The latter will induce a reputation with referees and he'll end up not getting decisions regardless of whether he deserves them. He has to be clever when he uses it.
