Ahhh we love a jarg rumour dont we.

Got to be honest though, he is ace, but Zaha for more than half what we would get for him would be just as good for us on that left.
So we'd at best break even on cash but have a player that is 5 years older instead. Sounds about right for us actually.

No win situation. If sigurdsson or anyone else missed, to be rattled by your own team mate. Absolute no no.
Good thing. He didnt sulk. Straight over to celebrate.

Most football players want to take penalties. Especially offensive players. But that discussion is taken before the season, before the match. Then one must be loyal to that decision. Sometimes it happens that the regular shooter gives the task to someone else, but then it is the shooter himself who has decided it.

However, players should never start discussing this before the penalty kick. Taking a penalty kick is a mental thing, and then you have to be focused on the task. What Richarlison did was unacceptable, not only because he disturbed Gylfi, but the way he did it. It was also unacceptable because the action clearly showed that he put himself before the team. He was disloyal to the team.

Yes, Richarlison needs a goal, but more importantly, Everton needed a win. Ancelotti had decided that Gylfi was the man he would trust when it comes to penalties. Therefore, he also questioned Ancelotti's authority. I reckon Richarlison has given an apology to his teammates and Ancelotti, and said it will never happen again. But he shows behavior, the Brazil incident and the penalty kick, which shows that he puts himself in front of the club, and that is not good for the team spirit in a group.
I think it's more frustration with himself and tunnel vision. I think generally Richarlison is a great team player and I forgive him the odd lapse.

Rest of what money? Palace want 50m+ for Zaha. Richarlison isn't going for too much over this. And Palace aren't dumb so they won't be giving us Zaha for much less than what we sell Richarlison for if he goes first.

Are you joking ??

Zaha will be 40-50 maybe, but Richarlison will be double that, easy.

Maybe. But no one knows what Richarlison thinks and feels. His actions, on the other hand, can be seen by everyone. I reckon Ancelotti is in control and we could not have had a better coach to handle this situation.

Unless Richarlison has a big season, I do not think any team will pay £80m+ for him. And that is the value the club will place on him.

I worry at the end of the season he might have a tantrum if he does not get his own way and that will lower his value more.

It will be interesting to see what happens. I think if the club makes Europa League and Richarlison has no offers from Champions League clubs, he may be convinced to stay another season to attract better suitors.

Only 12 players have ever gone for 80m. 7 more between 70m and 80m. It is not going to be easy when at least half of those are on players who were indisputably world class. Richarlison is not this.
His ceiling is very high and 50-60m is daylight robbery, I think he can fit into a lot of clubs these days with his defensive covering and playing on the left or in the middle, I agree he's not world class level but if you place him in a superior team to us he might skyrocket away.
