That's been said about every member of the starting XI at some point by some posters.

He's in poor form, which happens even to first-rate players. Digne had that rough patch at about this time last year. He'll shake it off soon enough, and the nice thing about everyone els elevating their level of play is that we can beat top 6 teams when he's not in fine form.

But he is better fit for today's football. He is fast, has immense work rate, can dribble. I would be shocked if he doesn't have a long and successful career.

Totally. Particularly in front of goal needs to tame the inner Richy and compose himself.

will always play on the edge and that’s what must make him such a hard player to go up against. Think it’s easy to under estimate the trouble he causes oppo teams just by being there and thereabouts.

also James not playing means they don’t have to double up on him as it’s only iwobi there ... meaning they can double richy as you say. Compound that with digne missing and us having no forward threat from LB and I tend to agree that this would be making richys task a lot more difficult

he had a three week rest after the derby mate
 
Clearly wasn’t fit last night, that wrist injury looks a sore one, just look at the way he bails on the celebration for the 1st goal & the way he was carrying his arm all game.

Didn’t he have a problem with that wrist early on in his Everton career?

Nah, Richarlison always has a go when he plays but right now not everything is going his way. I feel that because we know just how good he can be, we expect him to be killing it week in week out. All player have their 'off period', we just have to be a bit more patient and sell the useless prima donna in January.

If we get to the semi's of the carabao I hope we go a full change in the FA Cup against Rotherham and play a full 2nd string side.

Would be foolish risking the likes of Richarlison, Doucoure & DCL
 
All players go through a poor spell but in his poor spell since his return he’s got a goal and an assist to his name. Also it’s not like he’s lost the effort or determination, he’s still working hard. We know he can improve so no reason to be concerned. He will come good again soon.
