Spot on, this.

Even when he scores he has a gob like a robber’s dog. He was poo for chunks of last season but the point about tactics was a good one. On paper he’s the kind of player that will thrive in a Benitez team.

I like his narky attitude, its shows he cares and is a fighter better then not caring and just strolling around. Disappointed we are going to lose him at the start of the season. Rafael needs to get started quickly and allowing him to miss the opening games just made Rafael job alot harder.

I don't blame him for wanting to put of his return as long as possible. He will be no doubt hoping his Agent can get him a good move in the extra month he'll be away.
Disappointing to see him leave, but what do you expect when the Club goes downgrades as far as Beneathus.
What are the better players suppose to do if not take the hint.

Nil Satis, Nisi Optimum my arse.

He'll also be missing about 3-4 games.

Would hope Benitez signs a LW on loan and makes a statement by dropping him for a few games.

Good player but taking the mick out of the club this summer particularly after the performances he was putting in last season.
Or just sell him. That's a statement.

So your plan is to get rid of our better players then?

Genius.
It'd be nice if we could sell players without the doom and gloom of thinking the next signing will stink. The only "good" player I'd move is Richarlison and obviously only at a good price, but I'm tired of his antics, the Olympics thing put me over the edge on that front, and he's not progressed in three seasons. So it's time to try and cash in and find a new player who will grow before Richarlison is 26 and still the same player he was at 21.
