Overrating players like Richarlison is one of many reasons that's got us to where we are.

Overrating players we sign who aren’t good enough for a top 6 team like Iwobi, Lennon, Walcott, Gray, Townsend, Delph, Bernard etc. has got us to where we are. Richarlison, DCL are probably the very few players that teams going for Europe home and abroad would want to take. Ask yourself how many of our other midfield/attacking players we can say that about.

Not that Richie or DCL don’t have weaknesses or areas to improve but it’s the averageness around them that’s the problem.

Well said. The team and the management will need our support. If you can’t give it, then I respect that, but don’t go out of your way to create a poisonous atmosphere. This season is going to be hard enough without us making it worse.

They're part of the problem, they're not the whole problem. They're not good enough for a top half team.

It’s not just big sums though, it’s wages being paid for little contribution and our wages to turnover ratio. Townsend and Gray we’ll see about but they’re not here doing charitable outreach between them they’ll be on 80-100k a week and two and three year contracts. If they don’t contribute then we’ll be stuck with them paying their wages for the duration of their contracts like we were Besic, Cuco etc. Paying good wages to middling squad players who know they won’t get the same wages elsewhere has been a problem too.

We have literally won about 2 games when he he hasn't played since he arrived at the club, yet people seem to think he's not important to us. He is our most important player, along with DCL. We mustn't sell either of them.

Yes, but it’s 40k per week rather than 150k like Bernard and 80k like walcot and bolasie

Absolutely. You'd think they were being terrible for free, but sadly we are paying for them to do it
