Complete performance yesterday - unplayable. He hates getting beat and love Everton - nice combo to have.

Hes a future club captain for me, I think it would make him an even better player for us.

He’ll leave in the summer no? Hasn’t that always been the plan, that we’d agree to sell him if he stayed another season (this season)?

That is just like how I used to take corners.... probably the thing I was best at. Keep it away from the keeper and into the centre.

Mind you I was rubbish at most other things

We get it, you don't like him for whatever reason you've rationalized in your world...you don't have to beat us over the 'kin head with it. He's been good for the club and made an effort to adapt, it's more than I can say for plenty before him.

Sorry forgot to mention that, his work rate is also one of his main strengths and that’s why people over rate him on here . He’s a good prem player but people mentioning 80-100m are deluded imo

Well we paid 50 million for him a good few years ago. With even more inflation and the fact a mega club deem him worthy. 80 million isn't a far stretch of the imagination.

Erm, having a system that actually works is much more crucial though

We looked hopeless with Dom and Richy at set-pieces under Benitez because the system was crap

We still aren't amazing but we're getting better that's for sure (certainly from an attacking perspective) - we're also giving away much fewer set-pieces because we're playing higher up the pitch

I can’t agree with him being a good captain , he spits he dummy out to often and has acted like a brat over pens and free kicks more than once despite knowing who the taker is . That’s not a good trait to have as captain imo

I agree on him not being the captain, but come to it as Richarlison is an amazing player
you'd give him the captaincy if he was willing to step up and take the captaincy,
he certainly got some qualities and the other players are behind what he does, he leads the way on the pitch

but he has other qualities that he probably knows he would would have to change
and why would he change those?

Prob fuming he’s used as a dummy to draw them with him to the near post rather than being the target of the corner.
He does like scoring…… surprised he’s been so calm about the Gordon goal tbf.

haven't we watched Richy enough over the last few years that many times his body language is just different from what a lot of people would expect? we've seen time and again how we think he doesn't care or wants out, then 5 minutes later he's kissing the badge and running after everything. I think he's just a little bit odd. He's not fuming he hasn't scored the goal on that corner, he could be thinking any number of things, he could be catching a breather, he could be waiting to catch the guys on the way back. Literally anything is possible with this guy.

You never hear anything about his teammates not liking him or saying he's not a team player. I think it's much ado about nothing to be honest.
