Still just not sure his head is in it all the time. Most of the stupid mistakes have stopped but I think his focus still drifts from time to time. We don’t get England Pickford every week where he’s just seemingly always switched on.
That’s either an opinion based on the media or simply a bad take. I’ve never been Pickfords biggest fan but for 18 months now he’s very much been ‘England Pickford’. It’s just an extension of the crap reductionist takes I was talking about earlier.
Agreed, there’s only been one Pickford since he got injured/dropped under Ancelotti over a year ago and came back fully focused and switched on and that Pickford is boss.
Richarlison is way off confidence for finishing right now but is still so effective in what he does. Imo his defending from the front and from set pieces are just as important as his attacking contributions in this relegation battle, he wins more defensive set piece headers than anyone and his ability to win a free kick when we’re under pressure is priceless.

He played at a top level against United. He doesn’t turn up like that every week. Just doesn’t happen. He’s cut most of the awful mistakes as I said, but he’s also not a difference maker most weeks. Kicking and distribution comes and goes. Makes the saves you’d expect most weeks and nothing else. Media doesn’t give a crap about Pickford here btw. England #1 isn’t something that matters, so he doesn’t really get discussed much.
I’d say he doesn’t normally need to turn up like that for England most games either - Pickford is a big game player whoever he’s playing for imo

I understand, I just think it’s all part of the same problem. Get rid of Mosh, I don’t think the problem goes away with a new owner unless they clear out house.

Well yes, but Mosh did bring in plenty of new leadership and then didn't empower while creating power struggles involving multiple managers. It won't totally matter how clean the house is if that part isn't fixed.
