He's a regular for Brazil, the World Cup favourites, scores a lot of goals for them and can play left or right.

Would love this to be the case but he seems a very similar type of player to Vinicius and Rodrygo that they already have. Unless Carlo thinks Richy wouldn’t mind sitting on the bench and covering all forward positions.

I could see him perfectly at Atletico though, would be brilliant for them and would buy right into what Simeone wants. If Inter can’t get Lukaku back he’d be good there as well.

He's really quite different from both. They're elite dribblers, especially Vinicius, and Richarlison definitely isn't that. What makes the whole Madrid idea weird to me is they really only need a better right winger and Richarlison has largely not played there.

It is interesting though because Madrid obviously can buy just about whoever they like and as such don't really need to develop players. And yet they've gone out and bought Vinicius, Rodrygo, Militao, Valverde, Camavinga, even the not as good ones like Jovic, Asensio and Ferland Mendy. I get that a lot of those are the very best talents around but I still think it is instructive and shows the value in it.

Also says to me that they aren't doing 75m for Richarlison but who knows, Carlo convinced us to be wildly irresponsible too.

he’s the Everton player I’ve loved more than any other for a long time . he’s played in some truly bad Everton teams and never gives up. He is underrated IMO . with better players around him we will see him take his game to another level.
