This whole story seems like a way of flushing out more interest /trying to force the clubs hand for me, maybe it's Richy's agent maybe it's Spurs leaking it. I will be surprised if he ends up at Spurs but if they meet our valuation he could it would not surprise me to see two or three other team's involved though.

That’s a bit like saying Everton are one of the best teams in England. Out of the 100s yes, but the gap between us an the top is an absolute cavern so the claim looks ridiculous.
If the world record fee is more than double the 80 mill figure, and top players have been moving about for fees above that figure, and will be moving about for fees above that figure, then I wouldn’t say it was one of the highest transfer fees. In fact that fee right now gets you a prospect from the Portuguese league. If you wanted to buy a true young established world class player mid contract you’re into the 100 mill plus range.
